For Raven, as a little thanks for all the comments on this and my other stories.

Don't know where this fits in, or if it fits in, yet. For now, I'm just thinking of it like the unlisted bonus track at the end of an album.

VI. Epilogue Two - The Epiloguening

I know what you mean. I know what you mean.

I do hope you're enjoying the story.

So major unspoilery thoughts:

This is a real solid story and does a great job of exploring these characters. I don't mind the long talky bits because they do a lot of interesting characterization work (and I appreciate them, having just been vividly reminded of how much I hate writing dialogue >_<). Also I might ship Beryl and Aloise now, just a little.

Interesting that you were already thinking of Hulk as a touchstone. I think there's a LOT you can do with that dynamic, though. It keeps cropping up in fiction for a reason, after all.

This is really good! The conversations really feel real, and the combat is intense! I like it!

I read through part 1 and halfway through part 2. But now I have a massive headache and my eyes hurt....

Squinty, just send me a pm if you have any issue with stuff like this. Jeeze, a 15,000 word work is already large, I don't want you having to work through pain just to read it.

Here's a pdf version for you:

I haven't typo-checked it or anything, I only made sure it was formatted correctly (pretty easy since there was only one italicized phrase throughout the whole thing), but that should be easier for you. I put it in the Archivist's Drive for now since I was already logged in.

Luna, you are a problem solver. Bless your heart.

Yes, thank you. I'm on page 31/40 now! So much easier on the eyes, though I still take small breaks in between chapters.

@ OL: Hail, my King!

@ squinty: Glad you can enjoy it peacefully. I'll warn you that my current life means it might take me until the next day after you pm me to convert something around here, but yeah, anytime it would be an issue, drop me a line.

@ OL: I'll legitimately read this at some point, when I'm not quite so far behind around here.

I hope you enjoy it if you read it, and I look forward to any thoughts you have, but don't sweat about when or if that happens. I never want reading my stuff to feel like an obligation that looms over people, like some sort of 'henge.
