I feel like I've seen more anime than almost anyone I know - but when I see people talking about it, it's like I haven't seen any.

I've been following Attack on Titan with my ex- and it's pretty damn entertaining. Somewhere in between good Deathnote and terrible Deathnote. I only use that as a reference because I'm pretty sure that they have the same director. Or something.

I think my favorite one though is Berserk - I don't know if anyone has mentioned it in this thread. It is the only anime that made me actually go out and look for the Manga, which I did not find at my local comic store.

I saw on the first page that there was some discussion about Elfen Lied. I liked that a lot too.

I feel ya. All it takes is one or two titles that I haven't heard of to make me feel that way.

With dozens airing every season it is not really a surprise though.

I feel mostly like it when I start checking VAs because a voice sounds familiar. I find that my initial gut was right, but then see a huuuuge list of other anime that VA did.
Dog Days in particular started out with the male cat general (Wakamoto), Eclair (Dog knight voiced by Ayana Taketsanu...the voice of Kirino in Oreimo) and her rival Noir (Cat knight voiced by, Kana Hanazawa...the voice of Kuroneko in Oreimo) and when I started checking the VA list I was stunned by the amount of people I recognized both consciously and subconsciously.

First season of Dog Days spurred this pic that got a lot bigger during 2nd season when another country was introduced, but I can't find that second one anymore

Cell seems so extremely out of place in that chart (because I can actually recognize him and he's not as moe)

When that general first talked and I heard Cell I was surprised too.

I just got done watching Accel World.
I'm currently watching the last few episodes of Dusk Maiden of Amnesia.
I'm watching Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate next.

Anyway, just watched the Pokemon Origins anime, because I was curious. Red does more in 4 episodes than Ash does in 4 series.

Personally, I just wish they would retire Ash and redo an entire series based on the Pokemon Adventures manga.

Was wondering if anyone else has watched Now and Then, Here and There, and found it as gut wrenching as I did with children forced into war massacres.

Haunting...I actually shed some some tears while watching. No other anime has done that to me.

Not quite anime, but I'm pretty excited there's finally another Ace Attorney coming out with Phoenix as the main character. I'm not entirely sold on Athena and I'm kinda gonna miss the whole spirit channeling thing, but we'll see. Hopefully there's gonna be some story justification for why there aren't any Feys around - in fact, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they show up later.

BTW, anyone watched Shin Sekai Yori? It's one of the best stories I've seen on the anime medium, IMO

I watched it sometime recently and it is definitely one of my favourite animes, maybe even one of my favourite stories in general.
