Hmm. Can't decide between the two. How do we flip Garruk? Nighthawk is great at buying time for the bombs. Well, since I can't decide, I'll vote for Cultivate.

I guess we kill a bear with Garruk to flip him? Nighthawk is absurd but I don't think we can pass a planeswalker in our colors. So Garruk

Guys, we aready have one Garruk and we don't want to get into a situation where we draw both (I don't think). If the rest of the pack were crap then sure, we'd pick v2, but we have a freaking Nighthawk.

The guy who won my M13 prerelease did it off two nighthawks. It's an absurdly powerful creature relevant every stage of the game.

Garruk. He kills stuff to fetch stuff. That's what reanimator's all about. There's even a small chance that Nighthawk will wheel, considering that a good splashable black card ended up as our 15th pick last pack.

It's the whole behind, parity, ahead.

If you're behind, what's better? Nighthawk. Bc otherwise Garruk's a 4-mana 2/2 or a chump killer. Topdecking Garruk when you're behind is almost always GG, whereas 'hawk will almost always HAVE to be responded to.

If you're at parity what's better? Eh, it depends on the kind of parity. Garruk will prolong your parity by killing something or generating wolves, Nighthawk can trade one-for-one or put you on the aggressive. Leaning Garruk here.

If you're ahead, Nighthawk closes games out, and Garruk... kills their chump blocker or overpopulates your board?

I guess my problem with G is that he doesn't do anything against bombs, and he only takes over the board when you've stabilized, which you shouldn't be able to do on T4. I suppose he can put you ahead and keep you ahead in early turns, but the chances of getting him out there on T4 across multiple games is slim, and sometimes he's just actively bad. Nighthawk is always good.

When you posted this I panicked and thought I'd somehow put Garruk Wildspeaker in here again.

Nighthawk for me. One of the best limited creatures of all time in my opinion. Capable of winning a game by itself.

Kodama's Reach is a good pick, but I almost want to take the Overgrown Tomb here.

All sorts of fixing. Reach would let us stick a plains or two in for flashback... or play advent of the wurm (I guess in cube almost anything can wheel).

Reach. We need a little bit of acceleration aside from Garruk.

Sorry but I prefer the tomb. In cube you're never short of spells so lands that do something are really valuable as they don't take spell slots.
