"Lands matters" would make a good mechanical identity for Frostwynd
- slower decks play more land
- slower decks hit their land drops, thus, lands mark the slow passage of time
- lands are a card type so it fits with the set theme
- "Land threshold" (X or more lands in play) can fit on any other card type
- the hot side can show contrast with cheap stuff, land sac, land destruction, etc

Bleah I like Parad's flavor and bringer seems neat at first but on the other hand how many one-mana instants are there really in limited?

I still like the white one and I'm still voting for it but I'm not necessarily sure I want the keyword to be a keyword.

So Knifethrower, even though it's less exciting.

I wish there was a better way to name bringer instead of using the card types.

The only other thing I could think of is Artificer, Summoner, Enchanter, Dueler, Cultivater, Walker, Sorcerer.
Those would correlate to the types: Artifact, Creature, Enchantment, Insant, Land, Planeswalker, Sorcery respectively (not that there would be a planeswalker bringer).

I'll vote for Shazzeh. I think we should keep Mown's card in mind, although I would probably change it to "its controller puts a relic' because it seems more flavorful. By the way, what are we doing with relics?

I don't know, what do you want to do it? Sacrifice artifacts, count them, trade them away.
The flavor was supposed to represent someone just grabbing the power core out of an artifact or something of a similar nature.

I think we should probably have a decent amount of cards that interact with them.

How about overpriced cards with '~ costs less for each Relic you control.'
or underpriced cards with 'you can't cast ~ unless you control X number of Relics.'
I'm sure there are plenty of interesting things we can do with them.

I think that we're in general going to try and keep relic references more general, in order to keep the less insular. So Affinity for Artifacts is more likely than Affinity for Relics, as an example.

I think the relics are more of a Frostwynde thing though.

I get the feeling Bringer shouldn't be a keyword.
I don't imagine there being too many cards with the ability, and it could simply be a common ability in a cycle of cards, perhaps.

That said, I would have enjoyed Sparkcatcher more if it were flash and brought a sorcery.

I was kind of digging bringer for a bit but I think Mown is probably right. I can't imagine myself ever actually using bringer to cheat out a one-mana instant: if I play the guy on turn two, what are the odds that my combat trick or burn or whatever one-mana instant I have--if I do have a one-mana instant on turn two, which in limited seems questionable--is even useful to play right then, when my opponent probably hasn't done much of anything yet? And if I play it after turn two, wouldn't it just be better to play the instant using my other mana at, like, instant speed?

The deck I can imagine using bringer most effectively uses it to play cantrips and fix draws for free, which is legitimately kind of terrifying.

Plus the ability lets you cheese the deck construction process really hard if you have enough, because it ignores color. This isn't hard to fix but doing so would make the bringers rely on an even tinier subset of cards. So I'm skeptical of the keyword now.
