How fixed or malleable are the leylines? Are they more or less frozen in place, or could you try to redirect them, provided you had the right sort of magical oomph?

It'd probably take quite a titanic force to uproot a leyline, but if someone had enough power they could probably pull it off... the consequences could be pretty unpredictable, though, and would probably be visually quite dramatic.

I probably should have asked this a long time ago, but do Jakkard foxfolk have tails?

...Yes.

I had to think about that for a second but my early sketches do include tails.

This is... probably nearing completion but I'm now not quite sure how I should be compiling all the information here. Also I still need to get back to Barinellos on some of the mythology stuff. But mostly it's the organization now that's throwing me a bit.

I'm wondering if we should standardize plane and planeswalker information a bit more to make it a bit easier to read and write...

I figured, but I wanted to be sure. I was working on a sentence that I cut anyway, but still, it might come up.

Thanks!

I am definitely in favor of standardizing at least the planeswalker/character info stuff. As I said, while compiling the list of races in the M:EM, some were difficult to tell. Maybe we should start a thread for that, to decide what information should be needed, and how best to present it.

Yes. yes you should.

I had something else to add a few days ago, but I have since completely lost track of what it was.

Confirming this because there's no central Jakkard info source right now, but Jakkard serpent folk are big snakes with arms? Or are they Orochi?

The former rather than the latter.

Keeper actually had some rather scornful things to say on tumblr over the Orochi not too long ago.
Not that I'm saying it wasn't justified.

Alright. That means "slithered" is a correct motion verb for one. Huzzah! A second question occurred to me: do Jakkard pistols hold more than one shot?

I just

don't understand

anything

about the Orochi design decisions

not a god damn thing.

And yes, many Jakkard pistols hold more than one shot, although some varieties are probably more like shotguns or even more archaic firearms.

Yeah, Why you would give a humanoid version of a limbless creature TONS OF LIMBS is kind of baffling. I like the tempest/9e Serpent Warrior frame

They are sixshooters after all.
Though the magic variety have some alternate aspects about them since the runes that dictate the spell fired are carved directly onto the cylinder.
Shotguns just have barrels covered in runes all the way down their lengths.

Or at least that's how I've sculpted their imagery in Wild Card... oh glob I need to finish that thing...
but after these other two pieces.

Yeah, that design is MUCH closer to the images I've done (which I need to scan and post sometime soon... just as soon as I find my damn sketchbook that has those particular drawings... >_>)
