You think I'd forget about that? Don't worry, Javelins will be flying!

...As soon as it is my turn.

Alright, I'll admit it, best turn ever!

The random number gods shower much favor upon Marek of the Forgotten Realms!

It wasn't random tho. I have an ability that lets me reroll a roll once per encounter. So the likelihood of my having to reroll against fortitude attacks was already low, and with my wisdom at this level heal checks are also in my favor. All probabilities pointed to yes!

@TB - I've got Font of Life, which allows me to make a saving throw at the start of my turn - can I roll a saving throw to mobilize?

So....can i roll a saving throw against being immobilized? If not, I'm guessing this will be a pretty short turn for me....

Font of Life

"At the start of your turn, you can make a saving throw against one effect that a save can end."

In other words you cannot use it to remove the immobilized condition, since the effect is not an effect that a save can end.

OK - I guess Du'tok's not going to have much of a turn!

Wait - hold everything - can I defer my turn until later in the round, when he can move again?

@Neosilk

You are the last one, so you cannot delay any further. But it wouldn't matter anyway, since your character carries the negative effects with him, if I remember the rule correctly.

Would it be possible for him to grab a javelin from my gear?

We are in adjacent squares and I'd imagine they'd be carried on the outside of the pack for easy access.

Yes, it would be possible if the character wasn't suffering from the immobilized condition. Remember that each square is equivalent to 5 feet and the characters, although close on the map, may be outside of arm reach.

Since the weapon is normally placed to be easy for the owner get it, it would not be a minor action for other character, unless the owner specified this situation before the battle, rearranging his weapons. But he can still pass a weapon as a minor action when close.

It hits, but the mad prophet is more than 3 squares away due to height. And remember any enemy on the terrace has partial cover too.

Well, It's my first time playing D&D and I'm having lots of fun! Except for the part when we get kicked in the arse by a bunch of goblins...

We're still missing a 5th player, though.

I cannot answer for my players, but I am having fun DMing this game. Unfortunately the past weeks it moved more slowly due to my busy schedule, but it will resume the normal gameplay now, I hope.
