We now have a category for M:EM works which I built into the existing {{M:EM}} template. This means it's automatically been added to all our pages, and will be added to all new pages that contain that template.

Furthermore, we now have categories both for ongoing projects in need of help and works in need of expansion. Check the pages for Zent and for Adrisar to see how that's been implemented, and scroll to the bottom of the pages to see the overall categories.

PRETTY SLICK IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF

We now have two pages listed at the bottom of the archive that provide the standard formatting for Character and Plane wiki pages.

Okay, I added all the guide information to the Ihn Gallad page, except for the map, which I can't upload just now.

I don't have a sense for what other works/characters may tie-in with this plane, so someone who knows it better than I do may want to add more to that portion.

Oh wow, did you include the whole guide in its enormous entirety? That's... big. o_o I mean I knew it was a big guide but I forgot how big it really was.

Nice work. I'll clean out some of the extraneous text from the template later today.

Yeah. I don't have any background on this plane, so I just pulled the whole thing over. There was a lot of it. It's a biggun!

Thanks in advance for the clean-up pass.

EDIT - Put differently, this guide is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts compared to this guide.

Is it even bigger than B.F.M. (Big Furry Monster)?

Luna and I in epic tag team action added Gruff, Zachary Lavar, and Red Eyes to the archives and subsequently to the Wiki. Every time I edit the wiki the Recent Updates page looks like a freaking text truck hit it, because usually I update not just one page but ten or eleven. Some minor errors I made on the example pages for characters and planes have been corrected, and there's now an Alara page for when we get some more Alara stories.

Luna and I will get a few more things up tonight if all goes as planned. The archive is getting fleshed out.

I'm planning on just putting up pages for Keter, Siraus, and Aloise unless Szat, Barinellos, or OL respectively want to do those pages themselves. Not that I'll complain! I just am giving you the heads up that I'll be doing it, if only because I hate redlinks.

Good work, both of you!

Actually, I like that aspect with the Recent Updates. It helps me see what's going on, and what these pages should look like. I'm enjoying this process.

I'm going to go off and try doing some studying that I should have been doing, so the three works I was intending to upload tonight will have to wait for now.

Found out that the small Dominian Nightmares cluster links to the Renn/Vasilias/Illarion cluster, though. And maybe to other stories, too? I haven't read those, though, so I'll see what happens when I get around to it.

On that subject, if anyone has any suggestions for easy-to-use and easy-to-share flowchart maker to make the Archive connectivity chart more accessible to M:EMbers, I'm willing to try it out. I got LibreOffice but the Draw program is a little too clunky to handle making the kind of singular, large chart I'm interested in.

What about that other program I linked to that was specifically for flowcharty stuff?

Oh, um... which one was that?
I'm willing to try so long as I know what to get.

While I am a card-carrying member of the Aloise Fan Club, she is Ruwin's creation, so I certainly would not want to step on his toes.

Again, though, thanks for all the great work you're all doing!

Kirsh, Asher, Huinn, and Valjan have all been added to the wiki! Dominian Nightmares has been added to the Kirsh, Asher, and Sertaria pages as a link.

I added a bunch of redlinks for characters like the Dual-Walkers and planes like the Amphesium that don't have bios in the archives currently but need some sort of placeholder bio at the very least simply so that people can easily find the stories.

Our list of planeswalkers is getting very, very long. We may want to consider sticking a brief summary of the characters next to their names in the archives so that people aren't just clicking around blindly. I'd suggest using images to just show each character but then I'd effectively be volunteering myself to do portraits of literally every character that doesn't have a portrait yet and that seems like a real recipe for madness.

As your friend, I don't think I could allow you to do that even if you decided you needed to.

I think something as simple as a recap of the main points in the infobox (colors, species, availability, etc.) might do here. It's not a full summary, but it gives people something to go off of and doesn't require much additional work.

Keeper, I think I speak for everyone when I say: Put down the stylus, back away from the tablet, and get yourself a celebratory beverage/baked good/cheesy snack of your choice. You deserve it, sir. Less madness, more cheesy snacks.

EDIT: You know Barinellos is your friend when he's steering you *away* from madness.

All stories in the archives now should be indexed somehow on the Wiki. Some of them are indexed according to characters or planes that don't have full dossiers or guides yet. For them, I've added placeholders to be filled out in more detail later.

Adding stuff to the wiki should be pretty easy from here on out. I'd like if folks who get characters and planes voted in could add their own stuff from now on, since that'll make things much easier for me and Luna. For stories... well, it's a little more complicated since you'll need to figure out an optimal place to put them, but it shouldn't be super difficult since lately folks are writing stories that involve existing planes and characters, so you won't have to make too many placeholders. And if you do... well, whatever, it's not much more work than creating a full official dossier.

Anyway, that's where things stand with the Wiki. I might take a break for a few days from here on out, unless Luna uploads more stuff from the old archives. Anything anyone else can do to flesh out the placeholder entries is most welcome, just remember that if you're adding new information you should formally vote it in in the form of a dossier.

Yeah, excellent work all around. Things should calm down for me in a few days now that the semester is almost over. I'll write up some stuff for my various scattered projects after that.

My last final is tomorrow morning, after which I've got like two weeks before starting clinicals; I figure I'll either be way more active here, or be almost non-existent as I disappear into video games for that time. You have been warned.

Looks like while you can use template technology to embed pages in other pages you can't embed SECTIONS of pages in other pages.

The takeaway for this is that there's no way to automatically generate a comprehensive list of all the #Appears In sections for characters, for example.

DisappOINTED D:<
