Well, bloodied again. Hopefully 30 damage is enough to kill a cutter, we'll see. Marek is not using his Memory of a Thousand Lifetimes this turn.

I will try to update when I can, but I think it is a hit and a kill.

Du'Tok can shift forward to M13 and mark GA and GW1 and attack GA. This will protect Marek and Dairon from melee attacks (hopefully).

Leskyn can attack GA, getting combat advantage from Du'Tok, then shift to L11 and prevent the GA from fleeing. This should make it so the GA suffers an OA when it tries to use spells.

The issue, then, is that the snipers can conceivably finish off Leskyn. Marek needs to use a healing surge, and we need to kill these close quarter dudes ASAP. Marek will dual target the close-quarter dudes until one of them is dead, then he'll dual target the last one + the sniper closest to Leskyn.

Thoughts?

That sounds like a plan to me...as long as he's alive till my turn, I'll also use my Sacrifice to get someone some HP back...either Leskyn or Marek....both are getting pretty low.

Leskyn cannot attack GA, he is invisible to him.

Invisible is just a -5 to the attack roll.

Correction: -5 to attack rolls. See page 281 of the PHB:

CONCEALMENT
✦ Concealment (–2 Penalty to Attack Rolls): The
target is in a lightly obscured square or in a heavily
obscured square but adjacent to you.
✦ Total Concealment (–5 Penalty to Attack Rolls):
You can’t see the target. The target is invisible, in
a totally obscured square, or in a heavily obscured
square and not adjacent to you.
✦ Melee Attacks and Ranged Attacks Only: Attack
penalties from concealment apply only to the targets
of melee or ranged attacks.

EDIT 2: however, Leskyn doesn't get the CA against the GA, even with Du'Tok's powers.

@Rstnme

Close, but there is more. See the info below.

Targeting what you cannot see

If you’re fighting a creature you can’t see—when a creature is invisible, you’re blinded, or you’re fighting in darkness you can’t see through—you have to target a square rather than the creature. You also have to figure out which square to attack. Here’s how it works.
Invisible Creature Uses Stealth: At the end of a concealed creature’s turn, it makes a Stealth check opposed by your passive Perception check. If you beat it, you know there’s a creature present that you can’t see, and you know the direction to its location. If you beat it by 10 or more, you know exactly what square the creature ended its turn in. The concealed creature also makes a Stealth check if it takes an immediate action or an opportunity action.
Make a Perception Check: On your turn, you can make an active Perception check as a minor action, comparing the result to the concealed creature’s last Stealth check. If you win, you know the direction to the creature’s location, or its exact location if you beat it by 10 or more.
Pick a Square and Attack: Choose a square to attack, using whatever information you’ve gleaned so far about the target’s location. Roll the attack normally (taking the –5 penalty for attacking a creature that has total concealment).
If you pick the wrong square, your attack automatically misses, but only the DM knows whether you guessed the wrong square or your attack just missed.
Close or Area Attacks: You can make a close attack or an area attack that includes the square you think (or know) the concealed creature is in. Your attack roll doesn’t take a penalty from the target’s concealment.

I guess for me I'm looking at it based on this: "The goblin acolyte, seeing Leskyn kill one of his allies, charges him scoring a deep cut with his axe that passes through Leskyn armor like a knife through butter."

The rules imply that, because he's invisible, GA could be in any square adjacent to Leskyn, when it's obvious where the creature is. This is a scenario where the rules ignore the actuality of the combat, because Leskyn should have a fairly clear idea where the attack came from since it happened right in front of him.

Since GW1 hit me, I'm going to use Armor of Wrath and deal 5 damage to him and push him to square K13.

@Shockwave: I think cleave counts as a close/area attack, so you can conceivably attack both creatures this turn and, according to the rules TB posted, not take a penalty from the target's concealment.

Armor of Wrath

There is an update on this rule that ignores some of it. So it is more simple than that, you just need a perception check to beat a stealth check to know the square the invisible creature is in.

And you can do that rstnme. Just post it IC as an immediate reaction.

OK - so GW1 is now at K13, right? It's important, as where he is on the map is where I'm planning on shifting to.

I was worried that Du'tok was going to cut off his own hand or something like that...

Not sure I should go for an attack on something I'll likely miss, in this case the goblin acolyte. That said the goblin warrior that is still up is in range of my pressing strike...

Pressing strike, shift, perception as a minor?

You could Pressing Strike to K12 and then Action Point into Great Cleave to hit both GW1 and GA? Don't forget you have Second Chance too, if someone hits you with a devastating attack.

Used my action point last encounter. Currently have zero left, plus pressing strike on a hit pushes the target 1 square away. Though the second chance thing was something I forgot about.

Posting my actions now.
