This just in: Imaginary people can't vanish, BH. :V

I'd consider coming back to WoW at some point, even for just a month or two to catch up on the changes, if they were willing to change the talents trees back to PVE. Doing the whole "every 15 levels you get to make 1 choice about a PVP talent" really got to me. I LOVED their old talent trees.

One less player to fight over rares with.... man I rember back when you had points that you would point in talents..but if oyu didn't put the right amount of points into the right talent it was GTFO in groups and guilds....I even Remember getting kicked out of several dungeons and even a guild for choosing "fun" over being optimized. With the current system, that hasn't happened to me.

The new models look good :D http://wowhead.com/news=233947/warlords ... ter-models

+1

Its this kind of slimming the game down that drives me away from stuff, rather than fixing cookie cutter specs they simply made everyone into one. If you havent played Rift you should check out their talent trees. There are only four different classes that can be customized to be mostly any roll. (No more needing 9 alts to see everything) Each class has about 7 different talent trees and you have three active at a time. And unlike WoW where you can dual spec, last I played Rift let you have like six different builds once you bought the slots.

As my warrior I had:
-Raid Boss tank spec
-Raid AoE trash pulls tank spec
-Heroic Dungeon tank spec
-Farming / Grinding DPS spec
-Raid/Instance DPS spec
-Lulzy Tank / Healing PVP spec

I could go on a whole "back in my day" rant and talk about how WoW used to be good, but I won't.

I'll just say that the only things that kept me playing Wrath of the Lich King for more than 2 months was the story and PvP. Of course, the same can be said of Burning Crusade, but to a lesser extent because I was part of one of the top raid guilds on my server.

I'mma let you finish, but Gorefiend was the best server of ALL TIME.

I think I had one toon on Kiljadean.

And what's all this about not having talent points anymore?

All those meaningful 2% damage increase talents you'll never see again.
The reason they changed it was because 90% of it was uninteresting and the remaining 10% were either mandatory or useless, so I can hardly blame them. If you want marginal stat increases, then you can already do that through reforging and enchanting, while using talents and glyps for more substantial customization options.

I don't like that they removed hybrid specs, but outside of that, the talent trees in WoW very never particularly interesting.
Well, they also changed it because it's a lot easier to balance around, of course.

I leveled my my shaman resto as well. In fact he has never paid for a respec, I only added an elemental spec once dual specs became a thing.

I did all my farming and dailies and such on my hunter to feed money towards the healer. And while doing rep dailies and such sometimes sucked I never went uneeded when it came time for a dungeon or raid and usually my shaman was a good way to get a foot in the door on the next level of raiding. I'd get in with the healer and then on the odd chance I wasnt needed or we were doing an alt run and get to gear my hunter or warrior.

I leveled as a Disc Priest and during Wrath of the Lich King, I managed to put out more heals per second than any other healing class except for a Druid. If you added in the damage I prevented at the same time, though, I technically did more. The only thing that sucked was grinding dailies as a healer...

A couple of weeks ago, I was doing SoO LFR and the whole party was wiped out leaving only me alive with a min or so to go on the berserk countdown, and the boss had about a 1/4th of his health left and I was able to kill him right as the berserk countdown hit 0 lol

I finally got the Secrets I needed, now i'm currently stuck on The Thunder Forge, which requires you to enter a solo scenario in which oyu have to defend The Black Prince as he charges up the a fore mentioned forge. It's harder than it sounds
