First - devour is an action word as well (Thromok the Insatiable). so it could be modified to make a SINGLE card work.
Second - This isn't your contest. Sorry, but the judge already said its alright. Get over it.
Third - I've made cards for contests that assume the core mechanics of the game don't even exist. Like a mana-less Magic. This is hardly the strangest or most rule shattering card I've ever seen.

No one has said it isn't allowed, and especially not, as you tried to insinuate before, "illegal."

However, it definitely lacks etiquette and tact. At the end of the day, The Butt gets only the reputation he deserves.

He didn't say that The Butt couldn't post his opinion, though. Dtolle suggested strongly that The Butt get over the fact that judge already disagreed. But he's certainly free to continue being, well, a butt.

To add my two cents, it wouldn't fly in one of my contests, but on the other hand the intent is clear, so grading or DQing really is in every sense YingLung's choice.
