I don't mind if a keyword is bent in a creative way, especially if it makes flavorful sense.

@dtolle: word count checks out fine.

Function comes first though. Which as worded, the devour card does not. Not to mention it sets a nasty precedent for every other number keyword in existence.

First - devour is an action word as well (Thromok the Insatiable). so it could be modified to make a SINGLE card work.
Second - This isn't your contest. Sorry, but the judge already said its alright. Get over it.
Third - I've made cards for contests that assume the core mechanics of the game don't even exist. Like a mana-less Magic. This is hardly the strangest or most rule shattering card I've ever seen.

No one has said it isn't allowed, and especially not, as you tried to insinuate before, "illegal."

However, it definitely lacks etiquette and tact. At the end of the day, The Butt gets only the reputation he deserves.

He didn't say that The Butt couldn't post his opinion, though. Dtolle suggested strongly that The Butt get over the fact that judge already disagreed. But he's certainly free to continue being, well, a butt.

I mean, I know you, caldera, and Butt like your technicalities.

In any case, I think I'll not participate in any further derailing YingLung's thread. You're also free to continue baiting people if you'd like — unless anyone with authority steps in.

To add my two cents, it wouldn't fly in one of my contests, but on the other hand the intent is clear, so grading or DQing really is in every sense YingLung's choice.

If your content with the contest, don't come to the contest. Its that easy.

everyone makes mistakes. If this was the Absolutely Perfect Grammar and Spelling forum, might be concerned.

Folks, lets shut down that side conversation and get back to the contest, please.

You might want to edit that; I have ruled that CARDNAME counts as one word. (Though considering the two pages of posting etiquite debate, I can hardly blame you for missing it.)

#it's all coo

As a more general announcement, the round will be over on the 9th, probably around 5PM. If you edited your card, please pm me so I can adjust my grades.

@Ko: I saw the name change. :)
