No

and how is it not balanced, it will revive 2, maybe three creatures a game, if that, its got a super weak body. that's besides the point though.

Sorcery

Deal 3 damage

-At the beginning of your upkeep, if there is a sorcery above this card, you may cast this from your graveyard.-

I can go on...

Constantly checking graveyards just isn't fun, no matter how hard you try to make it fun. Checking on your own graveyard is kinda okay, so reanimation.dec or Unearth or Flashback is fine, but having to check other people's deck all the time really isn't adding anything to the experience (except tedium).

Yeah, I don't consider grieving an appropriate way of fun at my table. But that's just me.

It's only for legacy, too garner out an advantage against the unprepared.

I've seen worst at Legacy events then that.

The only reason I dont like touching other peoples cards is because theyre generally covered in cheetos or fast food grease. aside from that I find it quite fun.

It's not the touching, that is the problem, generally speaking.

You have to ask enough questions to your opponent(s) already. How many cards do you have in your hand? You have a Kederekt Leviathan in your graveyard, right? You played two Into the Roils this game? Can I read that ruletext again? Anything in your exile zone? You played a land last turn?

Adding: Does that card have two sorceries on top of it? Is quite a lot. All of those examples are just simple memory issues. You can probably remember that a spell got countered, but remembering the exact sequence in which it happened is another thing entirely.

The main thing graveyard-order would add to the game is people getting annoyed at either those questions, having to check it constantly or at other players for doing something wrong with it.

Okay. Work with me here.

What's the reward? Why is the work worth the reward?

Because what I'm seeing is you saying I should work a crappy retail job and be happy with €6 an hour.

It has nothing to do with that. My point is that I dont mind having to remember easy facts about the game state because my brain is not damaged in any way and Im not a lazy ****.

There's only so much mental effort people are willing to put into a mechanic.

I'm glad that you can mentally keep track of 5 people's graveyard, hand-size, exile zones, +1/+1 counters, probability of another counterspell and land drops while still doing the combat math required to stop a horde of Saproling tokens. That's cool. But for us muggles, we need to ask questions to our opponents, we need to occasionally check our graveyards...

And I'm betting that there are more players who need to check whether you got 1 or 2 Hellspark Elementals in your graveyard than there are players that don't.

I'm glad you don't have that problem, but if most players didn't have that problem, we wouldn't even be using physical +1/+1 counters, because everyone would just remember those.

I was taught how to play like that though.

Remember everything, I was told, you should have a base idea of what every card does, and how to use it, and as of now I do. I never rearrange my yard, at this point, simply out of habit (or with the case of my zombie deck, because I have too).

People, newer players, call me the encyclopedia, judges come to me for rulings, because I remember these things out of habit.

Did you know you can get rid of a Batterskull forever just by forcing the germ token to phase out? I did.

Do you know all the interactions involving banding, and ways to utilize and abuse the mechanic?

I mean, sure a part of it was that old school gamers were an entire different school of ****, but man, did I learn the game because of it, and I know enjoy this game because of it.

This is what I feel the problem is, and I hate to sound like a spike, but the game has gotten too simple. In fact, a year ago I got back into YuGiOh (dragged into it kicking and screaming), and mused that while in the last ten years "the mature game" Magic has become extremely simple compared to what it was (for better and or worst), and YuGiOh went from being a rather simple kids game to being probably the most complex and rule heavy tcg currently in production. It's just ironic. Yet YuGiOh players will always get **** on by every other gaming group and culture because YuGiOh.

Now Butt, is being well a butt, and I agree on something, but in all fairness, the graveyard is a public zone, and you can look at it whenever you want.

this mostly sums up my feelings on the matter

its not worth it to add one more thing to have to think about when graveyard order doesn't add anything to the game except annoying **** that is a pain in the ass to keep track of

Opinions, we all have them, and I'm afraid I must disagree. It was great design space, and R&D liked it (marketing didn't). Here is too hoping they bring it back, but alas, if they don't I have no qualms about it either.

Also your the grade of player I use Corpse Dancer on my board too annoy, just saying. Anger an opponent, and they will make there own mistakes.
