Ting I love about Jhoira is her ability is colorless, so you can easily suspend off-color splash spells.

Phthisis is powerful, and sometimes dangerous. Does it have a deck to fit in in MM?

Shadowchu, I'd appreciate a short explanation of "draft your seat".

Are we going to commit to our first pick and take Search for Tomorrow? Otherwise, I like Capsule.

Probably Rebel tutor, yes.

Search for tomorrow

For me, the options are Search, Stinky, Capsule, Predator. None of the other three make me want to change plans.

I feel like the Giant is a very valid option here. Very strong equipments to be had and ramping into him is good.

But yes, the capsule is also a great idea.

Tough choice, either hedge that Stonehewer is a super bomb because we find tutor targets... or take the removal.

Stonehewer Giant

I'll second the Giant.

According to this: http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/a ... ily/ld/253
White: Bound in Silence (although I've seen good arguments for Sanctum Gargoyle)
Blue: Errant Ephemeron
Black: Rathi Trapper
Red: Glacial Ray
Green:Imperiosaur

The two best commons in MMA are Blightspeaker and Kodama's reach. Some people take Bonesplitter over the rest of this pack too.

Niche, I think giant isn't very good. There only one good non-mythic piece of equipment and a 5 mana 4/4 isn't great.

I'm going with Search for Tomorrow. We'll play the silly tromp deck and be happy about it.

Man, that Rift Elemental is making me wish we took Jhoira. That would have been a good start to a deck.
I vote Search for Tomorrow.

Search. It leaves us open to play what we want later.

I agree 100% TP. We're probably going to see all the suspend enablers in this draft, just because we passed her.

Rift elementals and jhoira table all the time. If you wanted to be storm you would be saying we should have first picked glacial ray, wheeling jhoira, then this pack we'd take desperate ritual wheeling petals of insight.

Should I feel bad about wanting to take stinkweed imp?

That reminds me... how does suspend interact with storm? It's it always part of the storm count? What zone is a suspend(ed) card in?

Suspend exiles with x time counters on it. Each turn it triggers removing a time counter. When the final time counter is removed it triggers the card being cast and put onto the stack, all targeting occurs. The card is specifically cast, not a copy of the spell being put onto the stack.

Yes. Dredgie.

I'd think someone in your position would be more open-minded when it came to the raising of the dead.

I have the propriety to do it it properly. You dredgies give undead a bad name.

So the synergy with storm is timing your combo with your suspeded spells?
