Many moons ago, half an internet away, there was a thread on the official WotC boards with this same name. It, along with its many treasures, are long gone now, and so I thought it was time to let our collective creative juices flow once more.

Basically, this is exactly what the title says. A depository for simple but interesting personality quirks, which a player could easily add to a character to flesh them out on a moment's notice. I will give us some to start off with, but it is open for anyone to post their ideas.

1: Fear of chickens.
2: Obsessed with gossip about royalty.
3: Constantly trying to teach yourself juggling.
4: Attempts to befriend all animals.
5: Insists on keeping adventuring party color coordinated.

6: Flips a coin to make important decisions.
7: Plays a musical instrument / Learning to play instrument.

8. Strong insistence of seeing a joke in everything.
9. Cannot live without ales or beers. Or so he believes.
10. A deep desire to seek solitude each time meditation is necessary.

11.A fear of mimes

12. A secret hatred of children.
13. Assumes everyone lies and never tells the truth.
14. Incredibly clumsy.
15. Completely incapable of believing in deities.
16. Fear of falling off of anything over one foot high.

17: Incapable of remembering names, refers to people by their hair colors.

18. A wish to tame one of each of the always chaotic evil races.
19. Intentionally always tries to sound serious, even when not.
20. Has a deep seated belief that technology will fail, magic is the future!

21. Breaks out in a show tune at least twice a day
22. Breaks out in a song and dance twice a day.

23. Missing a finger on one hand.

24: Wears a necklace made out of a finger, refuses to explain where he got it.

25. Speaks only in abbreviations ( lol, IDK etc)

26. A spellcaster who can't cast spells.
27. A fighter type who believes he can cast spells.
28. Changes his / her outfit after every combat.
29. Believes all their food is poisoned so they must hunt daily.
30. Can't read.
31. Color-blind.
32. Ends every sentence by pounding their fist on a solid surface.
33. Must eat a bar of chocolate daily.
34. His/Her last lover was an elemental.
35. Constantly changes the names of everyone they know.
36. Can't sleep in the same room for more than 2 hours.
37. Has a fear of horses.
38. Speaks in rhymes.
39. Has the worst breath ever.
40. Exaggerates every story they tell.
41. Breaks the 4th wall continuously.
42. Assumes any non-human is a pet of a human.
43. Never walks, only runs anywhere.

45. Has a chance of thinking every woman he/she meets is a witch.
46. Eats a part of every creature he/she slays in battle.

47. Gives people new names upon meeting them.
48. Allergic to diamonds.
49. Can't see the colour orange.

50. On a quest to expirience each race's "intimate" habits.
51. Is confused as to why no one else hears the deity he speaks aloud to.
52. Has an undead limb fused to their living body.

53. Sometimes looses all sensation in their right arm.
54. Cannot feel pain.
55. Afraid of the dark.
56. Blinded by bright light.
57. Only ever has one dream, the same one every night.
58. Cannot refuse a command from an authority figure.

59. Is a virgin.

60. Chronic procrastinator.
61. [Foreign culture]phile. Just totally obsessed with this far-off land.
62. Pica - condition where some times you just want to eat things that aren't food.
63. Extreme hatred of goblins (regardless of whether this is a fantasy setting).
64. Poor depth perception and hands shaped like claws. Hands sometimes shake. Poor long term memory paired with surprising mental agility.

So, do we expect people to roll these up for RPGs on the forum?
Edit- seeing what kind of character I get if I roll some of these up:

Exaggerates all stories and Assumes everyone lies. Those actually go together pretty well.
I guess the trick is to get the right ratio of reasonable:nutty.

66. Can't eat cooked food, only raw.

(I'll proably be using some quirks for NPCs at the very least)
