Just cause you like eating the sand

I would like to join this one, having talked it over with Garren, I'll be running with an anti-paladin of Calistria, traveling from town to town abusing the good natures of folks as he pretends to be a grand hero (of course, with his fiendish boon, those demons plaguing the village are suspiciously easy to clear out). Posing as a paladin of Iomeadae, in his shiny plate. And being an Aasimar, he's got that whole look of the divine going for him too.

Long term motivations are to grow a huge cult of personality following him around, and reaping the benefits of their blind devotion, having a horde of people idolising and willing to die for him.

Skills wise, I'll largely be a bluffing and intimidating sort (the former to hide in plain sight, the latter to cow the spineless into rewarding him afterwards) combat skills mostly revolve around high burst damage, application of controlly curses and avoiding getting beaten up (since depsite being in plate, i#m not super tanky))

I'm just typing up my character into myth-weavers, and whilst im familiar with pathfinder, I haven't done PBF before, (or indeed played much as high level as this), so if i'm noobing it up all over the place, my apologies in advance.

I've not been at this high level before either, and suck at shopping... so I started a thread up in character building for open discussion. Garren in particular was extremely helpful.

You're an Aasimar eh? That should be interesting. And now we have all three types of evil in the party; lawful, neutral, and chaotic.

Who needs what still? I'm buying mundane gear at the moment and then should be set.

Err if I recall correctly Shockwave is done, Zinger and his Cohort are done, BH is basically done, S_E is... I have no idea, M-R needs a cohort made (because he took leadership too) but is otherwise finished.

There is one other guy (the human magus I mentioned a little while back) but honestly he's put so little effort into this I may just start without him.

I'm not trying to exclude him of course...but we could always meet up with him in our adventures once he gets something built?

I'll finish up my character for sure tonight hopefully. Though I kinda feel left out in the cohort department now...lol.

I'm actualyl okay with meeting up with the Magus later. Were already going to be running with 7 guys counting the mooks so it's not like we are hurting for people. Guess I should get to work on the cohort then.

You going to be roleplaying all 47 of these cohorots? Quite a bit of typing to do every round Mr DM.


What do you guys think, should I pick up a bow just in case there comes a point where running in is not the best option? I've got money, and could get a decent Composite Longbow, it just wouldnt be my forte.

If its not too early to claim colors: I'll be using This Lovely Blue for speech.

Though if anyone else is dying for blue I can swap to another color.

Hmmm. Do I want a horse? I've never had a mount before.

Never hurts to have one even if you haven't got the ranks. The ride checks to just ride a horse for the benefit of improved speed are actually pretty low.

Do I need a specific horse since I'm a walking tank of armor?

Or does a light horse suffice?

A light horse will probably suffice but if you can you may want to spend the extra 35gp to get in combat trained so it doesn't freak out the second anything happens.

Yup. Planned on that, just didnt know if I needed a heavy due to my weight.

Give the sheet a look over when you can, I'm essentially done I think... the only two things I would do further is upgrade the Kukri and/or buy a Composite Longbow
