I forgot to mention that the lamps at the pillar only cast lights until 5 squares away and all rubble squares are difficult terrain.

No, wait for a confirmation to post can hinder the game (the game is slow enough already), but I will let you post your result IC when you defeat a boss or the last creature of each encounter. ;)

We're not likely to hit what we're having trouble seeing...

I'd ask rstnme if it would be alright for his character to do this if I knew he was around, but I have an idea. I think we need a lit torch in where the goblins are. I'll have my character light the torch and throw it as an improvised weapon attack.

It will slow my character down for a couple of rounds, but if it makes it to where we can hit them it will be worth it in my opinion.

@True Believer: Also before I post, if I were to have a character drop an item (a torch in this case), would it be alright for it to be in a square adjacent to them or does it have to be the square they are in?

@Shockwave

To throw 5 squares away a torch, make an athletics check DC 20. If you get 4 or less in difference, I will subject the throw to same rule of dropped weapon from your designated square. More than 4, the torch will fall in an adjacent square. Reduce the DC to 15 if it is a sunrod.

The torch can do some damage this way, but the sunrod will not do any damage. To drop an item is a free action, but you have to drop in the same square. Make it a minor action and I will let you drop in an adjacent square.

And you cannot target GC1 with Marek. Want to change the target?

After this encounter I will appreciate some feedback. I think it is important to improve the gameplay and diminish possible infuriating errors.

I have 20 encounters ready and some of them are experimental (the rules will be changed a little for them). The experimental ones will be the ones that I will want more feedback.
