@Fel: If you think that's all I can accomplish with that post, you vastly underestimate me.
@Neo: Have you yet to explain how you've come to the conclusion that I'm scum given that behavior hasn't changed from yesterday? Additionally, what information do you think you're going to garner off of me? If I flip scum you won't know if I was busing town or mafia nor defending town nor mafia. If I flip town the only way you can garner anything from my reads is if I flip information role. Then again, if I flip town you'll have that "information" to campaign against Eli with, won't you?
@Garren: Given the silly lynch was (from a scum perspective) a guaranteed town flip that wouldn't create much association with it, I'd venture to say the wagon likely contained at least one scum. Whom among them do you suspect the most?

CK - I thought you were likely scum yesterday as well, so, why would I have changed my mind?
Also - your "information" argument is suspect - I mean, the same could be said about anyone - what makes you special?

@Fel - some of CK's posts do seem a bit odd, but, I think I've figured out who he is now, and, if I'm correct, he's playing the game the same way he did the last one, and he was town then as well...

Neo, what I'm asking you to reconcile is this post from yesterday where you're clearly trying to alleviate the pressure Fel was trying to lay on me. If you feel that my behavior mirrors my town play, what is it that's making you think I'm likely to be scum?
As for the information argument, the point is that I'm not special. That argument was made in response to you saying of my lynch "I think it's going to give us a ton of information". As I've just pointed out and you agreed, my lynch would give you no more information without myself being a town power role than any other player's lynch would.

Well, without breaking (what I expect is a rule) I'm not 100% sure you are who I think you are. I think I'm correct, but, unless you want to confirm or deny my thinking (and I'll put it right here - I think you are numbers, aka JD, aka JA and so on) from last game.

The quote you put there is not working for me, but, if I remember correctly, that was something I said a number of days ago, not yesterday.

As for the information on the lynch, yeah, it's more or less the same for everyone. I mean, if we lynch you, and you are a goblin, then yeah, we have to try and determine if you are casting suspicion on a fellow goblin to throw us off of your trail, or what. But again, that's the same with anyone. I just think it would be easier with you, since you seem to have tunnel vision on Eli.

I'm starting to ramble here....sorry...

Getting back to work, I'll try and post again later tonight or tomorrow, after looking closer at the past few days of posts.

At 20 ppp it's on page 18 (At 50 it's like 9 posts down on the previous page). Technically after yesterday ended.

I keep confusing the "real yesterday" and "game yesterday". Yup - I found it, and, while it was day 4, it was almost 2 weeks ago.

As I said, I'm going to look deeper once I have some time...the fact that you are not commenting on if I'm correct or not does make me think that I am correct. Which, will have some influence on how I interpret what you've posted...

Almost clicked edit there....
"I keep confusing the "real yesterday" and "game yesterday". Yup - I found it, and, while it was day 4, it was almost 2 weeks ago. "

Change that to:

"I keep confusing the "real yesterday" and "game yesterday". Yup - I found it, and, while it was day 3, it was almost 2 weeks ago."

Whether I am who you think I am or not is irrelevant to you reconciling the contradictory statements I've presented. If you think I am him, and the behavior presented has been shown to be his town behavior then there is something more beyond that that would make you think I'm scum. Unless you're just bandwagoning on the notion that I'm scum because it's been presented by a few other people.

OK, CK...

Here's why I think you are scum.

There's always the method of nobody voting, fel, if the majority consensus. Of course that wouldn't work in confused's example. Any violators would be subsequently lynched.

Shock, I'll wait on answering your question because I'd like to see how some other people answer myself before I taint the thought pool one way or the other.

An example of deferring. I can see what you are doing, but it's easy to assume that you just want to see how others react, then change your reaction to match what others are thinking/saying.

I like how multiple people are attributing Shock with the notion that he was suggesting a mass claim when his original question and subsequent post make it clear he's not suggesting one, but looking for mindsets on it. Of course that's probably why he thinks I get that he was laying a trap. Which I do, and that's why I was reluctant to answer initially and let other people chime in untainted. Since all things are pretty much said and done there, I think the results will lead us to find scum in those that were accepting of the mass claim (Fel and Alt come to mind) and/or those looking for a lynch on Shock for his trap (ie, those setting up for an "easy lynch").

You know he's a goblin now (this quote was before we found that out). Yet, at this point, you still seemed against the shock lynch...which is reasonable, but, again, could also just be a goblin defending another goblin.

Fel, I think you and alt are reading accepting as promoting. Accepting is actually far scummier, as you simply provide either pros or a "reluctant compliance" in the hopes that somebody else picks up the ball and runs with it. But if nobody does, you still can say, "hey, I wasn't pushing the idea."

As for shock, I have enough experience with trap style players to recognize a trap. And those that are looking for an easy shock lunch are obviously those voting for him under the notion that he was pushing a mass claim.

Was that a trap by Shock? I mean, it was an easy lynch on him, and it was the correct move.

That was just stuff on D1....(I think).

Getting pulled into a meeting now, I'll get back to this later, just wanted to get this down for now. IMO, this is all scummy behavior.

If I have my gmt's right we should be a little under 26 hours until deadline. I will not likely have a chance to post tomorrow before deadline, so I will make my final post of day later today. Y'all should be active and junk before that time so there's reactionary time instead of waiting around till the last second like scummy mcscummerz.

The excitement level of this day is overwhelming.

I suppose I'll just address Neo's last post and keep an eye to see if anything else comes up before I ship out for the night.

Neo I asked you to reconcile your statement from yesterday that you viewed my behavior as in line with previous town behavior with the notion that you believed I was likely to be scum. What you presented was a couple of instances of self admittedly neutral behavior. That doesn't even begin to come close to what's been asked of you. As for Shock's lynch, it was easy because Fel came out and said, "Hey. I'm the cop. Shock is mafia. Gets to lynching." the following game day from that post. Clearly the game didn't progress like you're trying to let on nor were the votes that finally lynched him because the voters supposed Shock was actually pushing a mass claim.

Given that you can't seem to reconcile your statement from yesterday I'm going to have to conclude the purpose of that post was simply to keep Fel from swaying the Silly lynch, albeit pointlessly since majority had already occurred. Now the question stands, if I'm town and you're scum why would you care how the lynch landed as long as it was on town? My best guess would be that the mafia MO is to keep town as information deprived as they can heading into LyLo. This would be congruent with the rstme nk. Had I been lynched that day instead of Silly, today would have a drastically different face on it instead of primarily being yesterday part 2. It's questionable if a lynch could be pulled back onto Silly today and unlikely it would occur in LyLo, resulting in a spiraling out of scope, so to speak.

Of course that's completely heresay. Conclusions drawn from observations. But the observations are worthy of lynch in themselves. First being that you drove the Silly lynch hard even to the point of defending against counterwagons, wagons that you're supporting today. Which leads into the secondary, blatant bandwagoning. When pressed for an argument you couldn't come up with anything that was directly scummy, instead referencing things that you claim to see the town side of but choose to ignore to continue to push the notion that I'm likely scum. For these two things alone,

Confirm Vote: Neo

While Im not going to ignore what you say, a lot of how you say things just keeps driving my suspicion up against you.

I mean your attitude towards the game at this point is pretty terrible, which could be a defensive move. Playing down how the game isnt holding your interest anyway, so who cares about the results. And if its not just a defense...then its a lousy attitude for a towner to have.

And you keep throwing in a lot of underhanded comments, and the way you word things, which present things in a way which anyone who goes against you is clearly a goblin etc. You keep setting out things in a way where people conform to what you've said, or you have free reign to accuse them based on them not playing along with your pretense.

At this point you're lynched unless more votes happen. If you flip town I will be amazed. And disappointed. As a supposed veteran, I would have expected better plays.

I got a few minutes for a quick post before work, hooray for waking up before the alarm...

Anyways, I've never once commented on my interest level of the game Eli. What I have commented on is the loss poor activity level of you lot. As for the way I present things, that's the way I see things. There's a reason I hold off voting before people have a chance to speak and that's for people to have a chance to expand on the issues I bring up. You experienced this first hand. Things you sufficiently explained I dropped. Things that were still an issue I pressed. In my perspective this style is much better than your ignoring things you don't feel like talking about and then insisting since a day had passed the conversation was over and your answer was already moot.

You still have a pending question asked of you. Even if I die before you post again I still expect you to answer it. Because that is the correct town play. Hey, these must be one of those situations were I expect you to play along in scum hunting or I'll assume you're scum yourself, isn't it?

Nothing personal but I'm pretty sure C_K isn't a goblin and voting for the players who I think are goblins won't do anything. Figure preventing a death is better then killing a townie ya know?

...ties do result in no-one getting lynched right? It's not they both get lynched?

@CK - I don't know what you want from me - I don't believe I can explain myself any better.

@Garren:
From the first post:
Quote:
Once a majority of votes has been reached during the day phase, that player will be considered lynched. Any votes or alterations made after majority has been reached will be ignored.
If there is no majority consensus, the one with the most votes at the deadline will be lynched.
In case of a tie at this point, the last votes will be removed until there is no longer a tie.

So, if no one else votes, yours will be removed, and CK will get lynched anyway. There seems to be no way to prevent a lynch, unless no one votes.

Vote: Neosilk

Nothing personal but I'm pretty sure C_K isn't a goblin and voting for the players who I think are goblins won't do anything. Figure preventing a death is better then killing a townie ya know?

@Garren - Who are the players you think are goblins? Unless you get someone else to vote for me, or someone stops voting for CK, your vote is really meaningless. Which, could be your plan all along...

@SE and @Fel - are you going to weigh in at all today? We're close to the end of the day, and, IMO, it's time to make a stand.

For those who will say that I'm just trying to save myself, remember, if no one else votes, I don't get lynched - I'm just trying to get more people on the record, so, in case we are in Lylo tomorrow, we have a better chance of getting the correct lynch.

Can I ask you to elaborate on that Garren?

I mean you throw out a lot of statements, but you dont back them up. You just state one thing or another, and then let the conversation slide over you. Why dont you think he's a goblin? Or maybe a better question, what makes you think he's town? And who do you think is a goblin?

Yet again today, Im finding my lean on you strengthen. You just openly stated you voted with the intention to get a no lynch.

@Eli, given you are being asked for your opinion I find your excuse for not answering to be complete ****. But waiting to answer a question until it won't be discussed further is totally a town move. Good thing you're on top of this for town.
@neo, exactly my point. You think my behavior is in line with my town play but think I'm likely scum but can't explain why. Classic bandwagoning.

@Neo

I can say I'm in a pretty interesting position right now. The 2 players getting heat today (you and C_K) are my top suspects. I'm ok with any of you losing the head. It's just a metter of waiting until someone reaches 3 votes to swing the axe. If this doesn't happen, C_K loses his head and we move on. I'm just waiting to see what Squinty does.

Yeah. I get that. And, if by some chance I'm wrong, and CK flips town, I fully expect to be next on the chopping block. However, I already know who I'll be voting for tomorrow. That is, assuming today ends...and I'm still alive.
