snake. Black ship has sailed, and black is pretty terrible in 3xBNG (I think)

I think black is the weakest colour in BBB and shouldn't be a main colour but is perfectly acceptable as a support colour.

We passed quite a few decent black cards. It would have been great to take them, but now I'm worried that we've convinced somebody to take all our black cards next pack. I'm still very tempted though. It doesn't seem like whoever's passing to us is taking any black stuff.

Setessan Starbreaker

Another mediocre green card. Nothing else stands out, and this way we leave ourselves open to choose our second color in the second pack.

I think thunderous might is the clear pick here. Starbreaker is terrible and never going to make our deck. Might is cheap, activates heroic and is in red, which is probably the best colour in BBB.

Funny... I thought Thunderous might was terrible because it's a 3-for-1 the wrong way waiting to happen. Starbreaker is actually OK sideboard material.
I actually go ahead and take the piker who can destroy siren's song lyre and gorgon's head. I think that is the most likely card we will play.

With devotion equal to one? And no toughness boost? And (almost) no real Heroes yet?

Starbreaker. Everything is filler here, so I'm taking the card we're more likely to sideboard in.

Thunderous Might.. its a powerful card and a signal of open red or bad drafting? I don't need another 2 drop right now in my deck.

I cannot imagine ever siding this card in. Seriously, it is a 2/1 for 4 that has almost no good targets in the entire set. If people want to take the 2/1 for 2 that actually destroys more things of relevance (Zenbitz missed out Pillar of War) then I can get behind that but not possibly one of the worst cards in the set.

How about every Bestow card?

Bestows aren't auras by themselves.

Sorry, I should say that yes it works if the card is bestowed on something but not when it is a creature. As such this card is worse than every other enchantment removal spell in the set.

Yes, but this is triple born and the only green enchant removal is uncommon. And if you think of it as a piker + a 2 mana destroy aura it's not the worst thing ever created. Not only that but green has almost no creature removal either.

After all that, it's worse than the satyr.

Hmm, go for the mediocre but easily includable reveler, or take a risk on thunderous might?
Let's roll the dice and go with Might.

There are 13 creatures with Bestow and 15 regular auras in BNG. Starbreaker has enough targets. It might be worse than other Enchantment removal spells in the set, but you have to consider how many of them are on color for us, and their rarities. It also comes with a body, which helps devotion, you can grow with auras, can save some life and all that.

I like it more than the satyr here simply because there's no guarantee we're going to play Red.

Going to feel like an idiot for passing double badgers.
