5.0: First pick no matter what. I will always play this card. 4.5: Splashable and first pick worthy. 4.0: First pick pack 1. 3.5: Early pick though not always a first pick. 3.0: Solid early/mid pick. 2.5: Solid pick in color. 2.0: Should generally make the deck if in this color. 1.5: Decent filler. 1.0: 23rd card if you have to. 0.5: This card will sometimes be sideboarded in. 0.0: I will never put this card into my deck (main deck or after sideboarding).
5 in the air for 5. It might actually even be a 5. Certainly a 4.0; just kinda hard to cast.

Card is great. I just don't think it's always, automatically, a first pick. There are rares/mythics I would pick over this. So it can't be 4 or higher, even though it seems wrong.
The best uncommon in the set. While the rating system isn't perfect to me this a 4.5. There are maybe half a dozen rares or mythics that I would take over it but 95% of the time this is P1p1 and going to be played.
I don't see how that makes it not a 4 (but it is why it's not a 5) Sometimes there are 2 4+s in a pack. It's the consensus best uncommon in the set.
