If anyone is interested in running the following contests, that would be great! If you have your own ideas for contests, that would be even better!

1) Design a character of level X, and the best party of 4 is selected from all submissions to run an actual adventure, GMed by the contest judge. Feel free to add any restrictions you want (party is in Menzoberranzan, party is hunting demons, party works for organization X, etc.) If you already have a specific idea for an adventure, you can give the players an idea of what that might be, or leave them in the dark.

2) Adventure design contest! Players submit ideas for adventure seeds that they would most like to run with their groups at home, but lack either the time or experience to write out an elaborate adventure. Everyone votes on the submission ideas in a poll, and then round two starts, wherein writers submit complete adventure modules based on the winning idea. Everyone gets a handful of adventures to run at home, and a winner will be selected with some kind of prize, but more importantly the other entries can still be used if you prefer one other than the winner. This could even precede and tie in to contest idea #1, above.

3) Pimp My X. Players are given rigid guidelines for creating a unique character, and have to make the best character possible within those guidelines. "Best" can mean most optimized, most flavorful concept, or just funniest interpretation of the guidelines, at the judge's discretion. Examples: a 3.5 illithid apostle of peace, a pathfinder bard who only has ranks in perform skills, a completely noncombat yet still viable shadowrun character, or a full write up for a 4e monster who has not yet been converted from earlier editions.
