Ulrick seeing no opening to fire on the demon, will move up behind Folkmire, put away his bow, and draw his rapier an wait for a better moment to attack

Ulrik races into the fray, stowing away his bow and retrieving his rapier, preparing to assist in taking down the Demon in hand to hand combat. The Demon stands up and steps forward and draw his large fist backwards. Slamming it into the ground, the tiles below it shatter and shard fly outwards at each of the heroes in front of it. Some of the shards hit Folkmire and The Demon itself, while others fly all around the room, not harming anyone else.




It is now Folkmire's turn.

Gritting his teeth as a shard of tile pierces his arm Folkmire utters an arcane word to retain the arcane energies imbuing his hammer before bringing it down again with all his might. Having heard Ulrick move up behind him he then takes a step to the side to allow the gnome an opening to attack.

Folkmire seems to be a bit concerned as Ulrik races up behind him, so much so that he misses his mark as he attempts to move out of Ulrik's way. Folkmire quickly moves down the hallway, leaving enough room between himself and the gnome to hopefully not get shot in the back as well.

The yellow-haired, dwarven battle-cleric takes the opportunity to step in behind the demon. With a setting of his jaw and a silent prayer to Torag, Augur swings his hammer with all his might, hoping to kill the abomination.

"Be gone, monster!"

Augur sidesteps the Demon and crashes down with his mighty hammer. His powerful attack manages to crack into the Demon's side and hit with great force. The creature appears to be fairly well injured at this point.

Finnean takes another swing at the Demon and lands a vicious strike with Ward. A fairly deep cut is made on the creature's shoulder and begins to bleed, the blood shimmering in the blue light in the darkness.

Ulrick will advance and join with his friends in the fray against the Demon, swinging his rapier in the hope of hitting an already wounded spot and end the monster once and for all

Ulrik steps up and makes a very tactical strike into the monster's wounded side. The creature howls out in rage, but does not fall. The Demon reaches out at Ulrik but misses his mark.

"Why wont this thing die!?" Folkmire shouts out in frustration. With another arcane word the runes on his hammer ignite again and he brings it crashing down onto the demon-spawn.

Folkmire takes a wild swing and misses, cracking his warhammer off of the ground. He manages to hit the same spot on the ground the Demon had broken previously, and his warhammer strikes into the ground below. The ground is incredibly dense and feels as though he had struck solid metal.

"Oh goblin piss!" curses the cleric as he feels his hammer strike the empty ground rather than his bleeding enemy.

Augur takes a swing, but at this point it seems everyone is becoming tired from the battle, having poured most of their physical energy into it. His swing misses the Demon, and strikes into a tile, cracking it.

Finnean strikes out with Ward and drops the Demon. It falls to the ground, unconscious and bleeding heavily.

"What now, Should we kill them?" Ulrick asks as he walks over to one of the fallen demons (D2). He prepares to deliver a death blow, but waits incase one of his party members has an objection.

"Fine bah me." Augur says, eyeing the fallen creatures with disgust. "They were foul, unholy things fer sure an we can't afford an attack from tha rear."

He hefts his hammer up to his shoulder and brings it down with conviction on the skull of the creature (D2)



He exhales with exertion and wipes some sweat-slick hair from his brow before catching sight of something interesting about the ground where the tiles are broken...

"Well if that ain't strange..."

"Alrighty then" Ulrick replies, then stabs his rapier down into the other demons chest



Then, Ulrick also notices something on the ground

Well, well, what shiny trinkets do we have here?

He will bend down to examine more
