the big bad bng white bestow cards are all (both) splashable. They are also not commons.

Centaur again? Or butcher?

I need to play this format more. Bc Archetype looks like an "I win" card, not a pick 5.

Also, discounting the rare and uncommon missing from the pack, what are the commons someone would pick aggressively, picks 1-4?

Probably a burn spell.

I think the butcher has a higher upshot than Centaur... which is often seen running around late.

Well I continue to draft terrible decks in this format so I assume everyone should pick the opposite of me.

I think if we want 1 swordwise centaur we DEFINITELY want 2. Butcher is OK but there are plenty of turn 3-4 board states where it's just a dumb blocking minotaur.

A of I is probably the best card, but by itself it does nothing and dies to enchantment hate. I have seen them mid-early like this. Blue is a bit thin in BNG so...

Commons taken were almost certainly Akroan Skyguard and... one of retraction helix/asphyxiate/bolt of keranos to go with a bomby rare in that color.

I don't know why, but I want to force Green in this draft and see what happens. Centaur.

I would pick up the 2nd Swordwise Centaur here myself, but it's true that Kragma Butcher has higher upside and can battle more things and live (mainly bears). Is it too early to commit to green and just take all the Swordwise Centaurs and Aspects of Hydra? Red is pretty deep in Born of the Gods, iirc, though, so taking Butcher doesn't have too much opportunity cost. Hrm.

The second Centaur really puts us heavily in green. And after all, what's the big deal? Three power is nothing special as soon as turn four comes around.

Karametra's Favor

Pretty weak in our colors, so it's either that or the Badger. I love enchantrips.

It's either favor or general. General is cool because with triple BNG, we can grab a lot of enablers.

Pseudamma.

Again, we can get a ton of inspired enablers in triple BNG.

Nothing like getting cut in all _3_ of our colors pick 7.

I could be way off on this, but I think Forlorn Psudamma is extremely hard to deal with and one of the best black creatures in BNG. It wheeling almost around the table means no one is very seriously black/control unless there was a rare and an asphyxiate in this pack. I have found that black is sometimes WIDE open in BTT because the BNG cards are so uninspiring. Plus the card just beats us if we can't kill it.

We did get passed a Archetype of Imagination...but so little other blue...

Wow wrote all that and forgot it's BNGx3. Not going to change my pick though.
