I'd like to extend this opportunity to also offer my services as a pro-monster breeder. On account of most of the solo-type creatures in the monster manual being big ol' balls of terrible I had to custom build the vast majority of 'boss' creatures for my parties to encounter - I dare say I got quite good at it. Given some forewarning I could craft some suitably powerful beasts for our brave pit fighters to battle. A 'Group vs Monster' battle if you will. Just something to think on a little further down the line.

I totes want to do a free for all with like three heroes and a solo monster. Force us into a position where we may have to fight alongside the very people who want to later kill us just to take out the monster, and see what unfolds after the monster finally drops. :D

Sure thing. In general how big are you looking to make them? Or should I vary from large open spaces to tighter areas with obstacles and such?

Should I worry about 3D? Having platforms, walls, and other such stuff to climb up.

So, size does matter (heh) and I think the maps should reflect a variety of spaces, with obstacles, traps, and yes, platforms and walls and such. Elayne benefits from cover, difficult terrain, long distances, and available open spaces, so I wanted to make a map that reflects that. I wouldn't normally expect a map this large. Also key would be the entrance points. In Elayne's map there are four, and I would roll a dice to see which one characters start at.

Yeah sure I'm up for that. As a quick suggestion; since we both know eachs others powers and the like (because character sheets) it might be worth posting a quick 'these are my defences, passive insight and passive perception scores' in the first post of the PvP arena just so we can do at-a-glance confirmation on whether or not an attack hits. Should save us a little time and cut down on the need for an independent adjudicator.

Do you want to do anything where, like, every few rounds we randomly have a monster appear at one of the entrances? Anything level 5 or below? Or is that too complicated?
