I know someone who has like 280 and only plays 25 of them.

I think my problem is I just bought them thinking I'd play them

So Squinty and I played the Assault on Dragon Keep DLC for Borderlands 2.

I enjoyed it muchly, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who's playing the game.

So, what do people think of the new tag system? I kinda like it, but since people can make their own there tends to be a lot of "Awesome" and "Bad" tags on games, which I just don't find as helpful.

Metro Last Light was on sale, but I'm spoiled and want it to be cheaper... lol.

You know Steam has spoiled you when $10 is too much for a big title game.

Yeah well.... you know how it goes.

We all have enough unfinished games in library that we can just hold off until those big titles are in the $8 area.

Which reminds me I need to finish some achievements. Portal and Portal 2 are starting to irk me that theyre not 100%

I played a review copy of Remember Me when it was coming out for a couple of hours and I remember thinking it was an average game. The fighting system was kinda annoying though.

So, I finally got around to playing Remember Me since it went on sale again and it reminded me that I already owned it. I have to say, the worldbuilding is great, the graphics are pretty good, and the overall tone is really well done. But over two hours into it and all I can say is: It's a fun movie, I guess.

I recommend it to anyone who enjoys CyberPunk games and prefers to experience a story over gameplay. While there is some skill in it, so far the routes you travel are very, very predetermined. Also, the camera needs work, and the movement outside of combat is stilted. The combat itself is okay, but it's almost too easy to spam "X" and win (while using an xbox360 controller).

Well I enjoy cyberpunk and story... and have heard that about the game before when looking into it originally. But a number of things steered me away from checking it out at full price and now I'm still sorta hesitant to snag it on sale.

I'm thinking wait till a holiday sale and get it for bottom of the barrel price.

That's basically what I did as well. Despite the abrasive gameplay, the story is solid from what I have seen so far. I really enjoy the main character, despite the insanely overdone amnesia beginnings to the whole thing.

Man, Dead Island had one of the best trailers of all time. Too bad the gameplay was only so-so.

No one wants a mostly melee only zombie apocalypse it seems. Especially not one so poorly paced with rpg tack-ons that felt like they were trying to rip off something else I've never heard of.

Speaking of trailers, I no longer pay attention to trailers without gameplay footage. Because.............. I don't care about the movie having absolutely no relevant content to the game but designed to trick people into wanting the game. No gameplay means I have no idea what I am getting into or what use the trailer had.

Theres a difference in a trailer and a gameplay trailer.

A non-gameplay trailer is designed to set the mood, get you interested in the lore and story, catch the attention of new players and rile up old players and get them interested. Its not some devious plot to trick you into buying the game... its not like the marine game where they showed one gameplay trailer but when the game came out it was totally different and fell way short.

If thats your mindset though, dont bother with trailers at all and just wait till someones streaming or doing a 'lets play' video. I've never know someone who bought a game solely off a cinematic trailer and then felt robbed that the game wasnt what they thought...even the most impulse of buyers usually flip through screenshots and descriptions.

I need to add a little to that I guess.

I don't trust ad campaigns for video games where they put out zero gameplay, and I literally wait for youtube videos if I manage to stay interested that long. This unfortunately seems to be way too common.
