Currently a work in progress, but here is what I got on my character:

Valenthal Stalwart, Infernal Sorcerer and scoundrel Rogue. My first character in Pathfinder.

Any advice? Almost want to forgo the Rogue multiclass to focus on the summoner aspect, maybe go Abyssal. Also have a rough backstory that I have yet to put down, but can address that later.

Okay I've given it a quick once over. Couple of things jumped out at me that I'd like to get out of the way first.
1. Whats your level breakdown? I assuming Rogue 3/Sorcerer 6 from your abilities but your caster level is still sat at 3.

2. What were your starting attributes and how did you get them? Point Buy I assume? I ask simply as I want to know where your +2 Half-Elf bonus went and your +1's went at levels 4 and 8.

3. With max hit die and a Constitution hit your hit points should be at 51. I assume the other 3 came from favoured class bonuses? If so what did you do with the other 6 FC bonuses? Remember that as a Half-Elf you have the Multitalented ability and as such can have two favoured classes. I assuming you threw them at additional skill ranks?

4. Class Features - Your missing your 'Rogue Talent' for your 2nd level (unless you took Finesse Rogue and thats where Weapon Finesse' came from) and a second 'Bloodline Powers' for your Sorcerer levels. I assume you just didn't get round to writing them down yet?

5. Spells - May I ask why you took Darkvision as a spell? I'm not going to tell you what you can and can't take but I always figured that spell to be very meh - especially with your limited number of known spells. Detect Thoughts might be a decent option for a cunning and unscrupulous businessman like yourself.

6. I note it says you have 'Forgone Schools: Divination, Evocation'. You shouldn't have Forgone schools at all. Your a Sorcerer not a Wizard.

----------------------

Okay nuts-and-bolts done lets have a look at the character as a whole. As far as the multi-class goes for the sake of your character you probably want to keep at least one level of Rogue just so you can tag all those skills as class skills. Honestly I'd recommend keeping at least 2 anyway just so you get Evasion as you have a decent enough Reflex to see it come in useful occasionally. The third level doesn't really get you much so that might be worth swapping out for another level of Sorc.

Heh, yeah, look at me go. I was going to do point buy because I usually prefer a nice balance, but decided to roll it cause if anyone is good to have a flaw its an evil character...but of course I went and rolled extremely well.

13 17 12 12 17 15

I'm willing to adjust to be more on par with group average and such though if needed. At there's talk of an assassin as well as a multiclass rogue perhaps I'll try out that polearm fighter?

Pole-arm fighter could be fun. You aware of Pathfinders alternate class features? Fighters get a few nice ones that could help out when building a pole-arm wielder (in particular the Phalanx Soldier, Polearm Master and Weapon Master archetypes).

You can find them all here.

Your choice! I won't argue either way.

@Garren_Windspear:

1. Correct on the level breakdown. But I do see where I goofed on spellcaster level. Total spell casting levels not level of spell that can be cast. Oops.

2. 11 Str, 13 Dex, 8 Con, 16 Int, 8 Wis, 16 Cha before racial bonus (+2 to Cha) and level up bonus to Int and Dex.

3. I did remember about the two favored classes, just forgot to apply the -1 Con penalty to the Rogue dice! My bad.

4. Weapon Finesse was the rogue talent taken. Have Corrupting Touch as a power and Infernal Resistances under Feats and Special Abilities. Better spot for it?

5. I think I'll make that change... (Was thinking of using it as something to help when sneaking in dark places, but other than that not much use true.)

6. Thought I erased that... Thanks for noting it. From a rough draft that I didn't like. Wizard with specialization/Rogue.
----------
Also made the level switch. Should be adjusted right now. Also need to fill out the rest of my character's equipment.

Thanks. Needed that to check the maths and the like.

So I was right in assuming the bonus was spent to grant +1 skill rank per level then?

4. Weapon Finesse was the rogue talent taken. Have Corrupting Touch as a power and Infernal Resistances under Feats and Special Abilities. Better spot for it?

Honestly it's fine where it is. I see the abilities now I just blanked on them before (thinking I read Infernal Bloodline and Infernal Resistance as the same ability).

Noted and yes to the +1/level question.

Skill points should be:

9 favored class points
5 per level of sorcerer (7lvls)= 35
11 per level of Rogue (2 lvls) = 22

...
...
...
Fixing.

Yeah I know about the alternate features and was considering the Polearm Master of course. Do you pick and choose which features to swap in, or do you select polearm master and then you get all of them along the way?

You pick an archetype and get all the features listed.

The worst part of the Mythweaver's sheets is that you have to come up with a name before you work on the sheet...

Names are so hard to pick. :(

So what should I do? Are we doing something custom for me or should I just go wizard and try and make it work?

Okay, this is what I have to work with: 12, 13, 14, 14, 17, 17

Class: Summoner (Synthesist Archetype)
Race: Fetchling

That's what I plan on making, more or less.

K. I'll work something out by the end of the week. Got a busy couple of days until Friday, and character creation takes work!
