I'd like to play even though from what I hear I might get nightmares (eg flesh blanket).

Bah, they discarded the blanket of elf skin almost as soon as they received it. I mean really, how ungrateful could one be? I do like that family of elves, though. Sitting in a corner surrounded by dried blood, cutting squares of flesh off each other and sewing them as the skin grows back.... well, you know, family stuff.

She's smart enough to handle 3.5 / PF. Just a matter of slogging through the rules since she's fresh to the RPG scene.

Thats why I figured 4E would be a nice comfy place to start. Plus 4E is very "action movie" like where everyone has cool stuff to do and what not. 3.5 has a whole lot of "I swing my sword at it and do X damage"

Also I needed both hands to fight, and dropped the blanket cause I was vomiting. At least I didnt drop it in the vomit.

Well, there is the matter of seeing what loot the goblins have on them. Not likely anything fancy, but never pass up a chance to loot what you can.

I was hoping more for real life cookies or something but loot is good too.

BTW, Shock, is your character speaking out loud? I only ask because usually italics means an inner monologue.

Meant for that to pretty much be a spoken monologue. Could edit it to be a little more uniform to the bold spoken, itallics thoughts.

Editted my first post combat to include actions (short rest, check bodies for items) and changed italicized to bolded text. Haven't done so with the rest as I have no idea if editting will change the results, which I don't want to happen.

Will do an expirement in the dice rolling thread.

Edit: Editted a roll post in the dice thread without editting the roll itself and the results remained the same. Going to edit now. And I will make sure this is used responsibly on my end.

Just got home. Will have both roleplay and DM posts up shortly but I need a few to shrug off a crap day at work.

I'm ready to move the game forward, just letting the roleplay pan out.
