Here we go (again).

I'm resurrecting one of my favorite games from the Wizards boards. We take turns making cards, going through the colors and the rarities. For each color, we will make (in order) a common, uncommon, rare and mythic rare. Then we'll move onto the next color, and cycle back to the beginning when we're through.

It would also be appreciated for the posters to add their card's rarity in the post, just to keep things organized and easy to follow.

In order:

White
Blue
Black
Red
Green
Multicolor (standard)
Multicolor (hybrid)
Colorless
Lands

To start us off:

Town Guard

Creature -- Human Soldier (C)
First strike, defender
"Guard duty is one percent stopping crime, nine percent telling people to move along, and ninety percent standing around doing nothing."

Whenever a creature you control blocks an attacking creature, the blocking creature gets +1/+1 for each other creature blocking that attacking creature.

Taken and slightly modified from the "Flagbearer" mechanic.

Aura Dominance
Enchantment [M]
: Gain control of target Aura that's attached to a permanent. Attach it to another permanent it can enchant.
Enchanted creatures have "This creature gets +1/+1 for each Aura attached to it."

Also, it's a lot easier to follow if you add your card's rarity.

Austerity of Sphinxes
Instant (U)
Counter target nonblue spell. If that spell is white, its controller gains 3 life. If that spell is black, you lose 3 life.
All sphinxes can be reasoned with, but just throwing yourself into its jaws is sometimes preferable.

When False Tutor enters the battlefield, search your library for a nonland card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
Cards with the same name as the revealed card can’t be cast.

At the beginning of your upkeep, gain control of target creature with the least power. If two or more creatures are tied for least power, you choose one of them.
You can't lose control of creatures you control.
You have to get them as babies if you really want blind devotion.

Whenever Deathless Draugr dies, return it to the battlefield at the beginning of the next end step with X +1/+1 counters on it, where X is one plus the number of +1/+1 counters it had on it when it died.
The war he first fell in is known only to historians, but in the haze of undeath he still believes himself to be fighting it.

Absolution of Dragons deals 5 damage to target nonred creature. If that creature is green or black, its controller puts a 1/1 red Elemental creature token onto the battlefield.
Dragons are the freest of all creatures, without desire or need, only instinct and pride. Its flame is the crucible of that freedom and in it, all things may taste the dragon's flight.

NO WE DID NOT MISS A COMMON. The person who posted it deleted their post as I posted mine, so no, we are not going to pretend it didn't exist. Ogre's card must be a rare then, to follow the pattern. That's not very rare-ish, Ogre.
