So I was playing against some Esper control amass variant. The guy targeted one of my 2/2 Knights with Enter the God-Eternals so I target my knight with Moment of Craving.

Because I read Enter the God-Eternals to be targeting my knight, I didn't think it would have resolved. But I guess it targets both the creature AND me.

Either way, my creature died and he still Amassed a 4/4 creature.

If I had a Teyo, the Shieldmage on the field, would that have prevented this card from resolving?

Yes. There would have been no legal targets then by the time ETGE resolved.

No, they would have simply targeted themselves with enter.

Oh yah. They would have been the remaining legal target. Don't know why I didn't think of that. I've seen way more than one time when I had Shalai out and the op played a Viashino Pyromancer and had to target themself.
