Now here's a deck I could try and squeeze my two Jodah's into except I would also need to add some red sources. |

Yeah, the list is still somewhat amorphous, tweaking things. For example, in the video, I don't have the second Invert//Invent in the sideboard, which you can tell is important. Generally, the plan is to play Omniscience with either Mastermind's Acquisition or Overflowing Insight in hand. If you have Mastermind's Acquisition, this is the line: 1. Mastermind Acquisition, getting Invert//Invent from the sideboard. 2. Invert//Invent, getting another Mastermind's Acquisition and Discovery//Dispersal. 3. Mastermind Acquisition, getting Invert//Invent from the sideboard. 4. Invert//Invent, getting another Mastermind's Acquisition and either Chemister's Insight or Discovery//Dispersal if you already drew Chemister's. 5. Mastermind Acquisition, getting Thousand Year Storm from the sideboard. 6. Play Thousand Year Storm 7. Discovery digs 18 cards deep for more draw, Overflowing Insight or the last Mastermind's Acquisition (more if you played Overflowing Insight first or other instants like Vraska's or burn or even just sweepers for the storm effect). 8. Chemister's Insight draws another 14 cards if you need them. 9. Overwhelming Intellect, if you have, can force the opponent to draw 56 cards, milling them. 10. Mastermind's Intellect gets you your entire sideboard, including Thought Erasure to destroy their hand, then Inescapable Blaze for about 40 uncounterable burn damage. Rest of the sideboard slots are for Bo3, where you board in more sweepers vs. aggro and just board in a bunch of uncounterable stuff vs. control and just play more like 4-color Teferi Control and just keep the combo on the backburner or even board it out completely. |

Okay, i imported this deck to my account. And i need 80 boosters to store enought wild cards to craft it. I think i ll only see video instead of playing it. I hope my collection ll grow faster with the 5th cards correction. |

Yeah, I had the same with Jeskai Angels some time ago. Now I can import almost anything you'll get there eventually :-) |

Tweaked, more consistent list: 2 x Omniscience 1 x Island 2 x Overflowing Insight 4 x Mastermind's Acquisition 1 x Swamp 4 x Discovery // Dispersal 3 x Settle the Wreckage 1 x Plains 3 x Vraska's Contempt 1 x Chemister's Insight 2 x Teferi, Hero of Dominaria 1 x Gilded Lotus 3 x Chromatic Lantern 1 x Treasure Map 3 x Gift of Paradise 3 x Glacial Fortress 3 x Isolated Chapel 2 x Drowned Catacomb 3 x Watery Grave 3 x Overgrown Tom 2 x Woodland Cemetery 2 x Sunpetal Grove 3 x Temple Garden 1 x Hinterland Harbor 2 x Negate 2 x Cleansing Nova 1 x Assassin's Trophy 1 x Recollect 1 x Thousand-Year Storm 1 x Thought Erasure 1 x Golden Demise 2 x Ritual of Soot 1 x Lyra Dawnbringer 2 x Carnage Tyrant 1 x Inescapable Blaze 2 x Invert // Invent 2 x Nezahal, Primal Tide 1 x Assassin's Trophy 1 x Negate
Spoiler
Vs. Aggro Game 1, this an okay matchup, even vs. RDW. You just control the board alittle bit, ramping up to your 5 drops to take over. Teferi is a big help, as is Gift of Paradise. If you are hitting Mastermind's Acquisition T4, don't be afraid to disregard the combo for a while, go into your sideboard and grab Lyra to try and take over. Game 2 and 3, you board in Lyra and the 3 sweepers for Negate and Treasure Map and a Vraska's Contempt, otherwise it's basically the same matchup. If they board in things like Fight with Fire or Phoenix, that's good news for you, because that will be too slow and your combo should go off in time. Vs. Midrange This is the best matchup. Try to play around Assassin's Trophy, other Golgari has very few enchantment answers. Vivien won't work, since Omniscience wins the game the turn it comes down, so the removal needs to be instant speed. She can blow up some of your ramp, but eh, there's always more ramp. Game 2 and 3, very little changes. Maybe cut a Cleansing Nova for Thought Erasure to set up your winning turn and check for Trophy if you don't have Negate in hand. Also board in your third Negate, maybe for the Treasure Map. Generally speaking, they can't kill you before you go off without wildly overcommitting. Similar analysis for Drakes, where you mostly are playing around boarded in counter magic rather than Trophy. Vs. Control Game 1 kind of sucks. They have counters and combo'ing is a bitch. Try to catch them shields down early and resolve Mastermind's Acquisition, getting Nezahal or Carnage Tyrant. Then try to beat them to death. If Omniscience resolves, cool, but don't bet on it. Game 2 and 3, board out the combo. -2 Omniscience, -2 Overflowing Insight, +2 Nezahal, +2 Carnage Tyrant. Play 4 color tapout control and hope for the best, but it's not a fun matchup. |
