Ok so I got in, I spend most of my gems on Guilds of Ravnica and a couple more on DOM, I got lucky and opened 2 History of Benalia, 1 Aurelia one shock land, one Cliftop and one Tajic... YAAAAAAY!!!!! is like if WOTC wanted me to build my Boris Angels... so I build something with that... but it seemed to fragile so with a little help from magic duels helper... -thanks buddy- I tried a bunch of different builds without burning my WC and after some intensive deckbuilding process I figured out what I wanted to do... and man this deck is frigging insane the win rate after 20 or so games is 80% -way to early numbers but I do think it might settle on 70%-, I´m loving it so much, I guess most people don't have nearly that many rares yet... -coz is day one you filthy Cucho- but non the less I think I´m onto something with the deck, the best part is that it has a lot of common cards with the Keld deck and the more aggro approach so more fun to come...

The pile is relentless, and it has a lot more game vs control with Swift blade and Tajic than my previous Orzhov pile, I´m thinking on Ajani next to pump the Mentor guys but I´m not sure if it is the right move.

This looks fun, but 14 Mythics and 23 Rares on day 1 give you an extreme statistical edge. I don't want to take anything away from you, but I would guess that a large portion of your games are decided before the coin flip. Doesn't even depend on the deck-strength match-making if you avoid that (in your best interest) by playing (Quick) Constructed.

I think we need at least a month to truly evaluate W/L-records.

Oh yes I know its kinda totally unfair at this stage but the rank system pairs me with higher ranks, and most of those if not all of them have playsets of rare dual lands and all the mythics you would want, I´ve been playing against Golgari Stompy, lower to the ground Boros and izzet based control piles -I lost a pretty fun game to Wintervoid yesterday, he was playing a Jeskai pile- so yes the first 10 or so games where to starter decks and from there the rank started to match me vs more finished builds, I played one Competitive constructed -no one was playing that so I´m still 1-0- and I run two QC after completing all the daily wins (one went 6-3 the other 7-0), the QC decks where indeed softer than the ladder ones and I did face a couple of starter decks there... so its kinda strange where to take the deck in order to test its true grit...

Anyway, I expect to play few more games later today and grind the hell out of this deck coz that was the whole point of going for the full spikes first, I'm looking forward to building the Izzet pile with Ionize and Niv Mizzet, but I guess I´m married to this deck for at least a couple of weeks

You really went overboard on the mythics and rares there...
I'm still saving a couple of WCs for my next brews, which will probably be izzet too, but the game is really pushing me to golgari, because I keep getting power cards in black green (and the lands too, think I have 4 GB shocklands without using a single WC).
As a an off-topic side note, the BR starter deck has a dragon skill summit and a rekindling Phoenix, yay!
Btw, I've unlocked 80-90% of the cards for your deck too.

Love Angels always. I may have to save wildcards just to build this. Save A LOT of wildcards.

Tajic prevents the damage to your creatures turning Deafening Clarion into a one side sweeper + you get the life link ... pretty cool!

EDIT: the deck has stabilized at 67% win rate and now is facing lots of Golgari Stompy and Izzet based control builds, I think is time to build a proper SB and remove the sweepers from the main deck, and add a couple more 2 drops...

Pile update... -after watching some of the Goldfish piles that performed well this weekend-

Changes: Justice Strike has been amazing! especially good vs those dumb dinos and monsters that go out of reach from red burn
Challenger: 2/3 is solid blocker plus it can mentor the Benalia Knights, particularly good with Tajic turning it into a 3/4 which is as a solid blocker as you would want
Conclave tribunal: great with Benalia vigilance tokens and answers to all
Phoenix... to good to pass

Somewhat surprised to not see the Adanto Vanguards and Knight of Grace - especially the Knight, which should be a good card.

Little Update:
Adanto Vanguard is such a great card... its basically a nightmare vs Control and it's pretty good early aggressor, Boros Challenger was alright but this other guy is a lot tougher to deal with.
There are lots of ways to build this deck but I think this is pretty refined list... some people don't like Tajic but I find him great, I dunno if the Guildgates are the right call maybe I rather have Evolving Wilds but I´m not sure...
Anyway, the deck has a pretty good Win rate 67% this one and my Izzet deck have the best performance so far.

This deck is solid, it has been for quite some time, the latest version includes 2 copies of Response // Resurgence main deck, and the card has performed beautifully, it's very versatile and allows you to alpha strike out of nowhere or kill a problematic threat when removal runs scarce.
Especially fun with Aurelia triggering 2 times her +2/+0 ability at the beginning of both combat phases.
I left Tocali on the SB coz I like the Knights black hexproof in the GB matchup in G1, in G2 I just swap them out for Tocali.
Against mono-Blue or some other control decks, I boarded Legion War boss, I lower the curve and go for 23-24 lands and remove Lyra all together... and it has worked quite all right.

Yup... but effective

Yeah, as an Esper player, the Warboss is often quite a headache post-board, because I usually cut Cast Downs in the face of all the legendary angels and things like Settle and Seal Away don't do much against the token generation.
