Updated my Orzhov deck. Much, much better now. Spent some wildcards on more Legion Lieutenant. Definitely leans more tribal aggro now I admit. Not my favorite style of play so much Orzhov's Bane (BW) 2 x Duskborne Skymarcher 12 x Plains 3 x Vampire's Zeal 3 x Bishop's Soldier 2 x Inspiring Cleric 1 x Forerunner of the Legion 3 x Rallying Roar 2 x Settle the Wreckage 1 x Radiant Destiny 2 x Ixalan's Binding 2 x Duress 8 x Swamp 2 x Skittering Heartstopper 2 x Ravenous Chuacabra 3 x Evolving Wilds 4 x Legion Lieutenant 1 x Tetzimoc, Primal Death 3 x Adanto Vanguard 1 x Zetalpa, Primal Dawn 3 x Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle |

Pretty standard Jund build, but this is what I come back to after I lose a bunch of matches from experimenting with different decks. This one always brings me back to Diamond. Carnaggio (Jund midrange) 5 x Swamp 1 x Vraska, Relic Seeker 7 x Forest 4 x Mountain 2 x Carnage Tyrant 1 x Arguel's Blood Fast 2 x Vraska's Contempt 1 x Tetzimoc, Primal Death 2 x Ripjaw Raptor 1 x Rootbound Crag 1 x Dragonskull Summit 2 x Reaver Ambush 2 x Golden Demise 3 x Ranging Raptors 4 x Savage Stomp 2 x Foul Orchard 4 x Evolving Wilds 2 x Field of Ruin 3 x Rekindling Phoenix 4 x Lightning Strike 4 x Regisaur Alpha 2 x Dire Fleet Poisoner 1 x Vona's Hunger |

I haven't played enough to get beyond Bronze 3 so far. I'll get up there but I swear I don't want to do it on the back of Dinos. Not even the above tribal if I can help it although it is pretty strong. I really want to get there with flavor like with my mono black discard or red white hijack. God God God I wish we had Cloudshift. It's way too much to splash blue for only one card. |

I just looked over all of your decks, I have one tip for you that will help you a lot. I can't really give an explanation here because of the NDA, but you should be building your decks with either 22 or 26 lands. Not 23-25 (which most of your decks have). I'll send you the link to the post. |

Post subject: | Re: Constructed Decks |
And once again it's Devil with the same damn deck. More a few more adjustments to my Orzhov deck and now it is exactly right. Tribal Aggro isn't my favorite style of play (excepting the 2014 mono black) but I decided the other day that I wanted to concentrate for at least a night on getting my rank up instead of building jank decks and going on about them on the Discord channel. This deck is kind of my goto for grinding the clime now with my Hijack deck coming in a close second. Come to think about it I think I tinkered a little with the Hijack deck and probably should post and update. I digress. The Devil had an unusual night last night. I won every single game I played and played 11. Don't think I've ever had a couple hour sit down and didn't lose at least one. The real point in telling you that is this is the deck 6 of those wins came from. Met all the T1 decks with this and won. Even though I love the jank my all around deck building skills have greatly improved through the years and I'm quite proud of this simple little thing. It has lords, global tribal enchantment, removal a pinch of discard and combat tricks. Basically comes down to -2 Skittering, -2 Chupas, +2 Aspirants and +2 Seekers. Keeping it all in the family with the exception of my two Dino finishers. Never get that far in those 6 matches. The only other change I'm contemplating is removing a Mavren and replacing him with another Forerunner. Give it a run. You won't be dissatisfied. Orzhov's Bane BW 2 x Duskborne Skymarcher 12 x Plains 2 x Vampire's Zeal 3 x Bishop's Soldier 2 x Inspiring Cleric 2 x Forerunner of the Legion 2 x Rallying Roar 2 x Settle the Wreckage 2 x Radiant Destiny 2 x Ixalan's Binding 2 x Duress 8 x Swamp 3 x Evolving Wilds 4 x Legion Lieutenant 1 x Tetzimoc, Primal Death 3 x Adanto Vanguard 1 x Zetalpa, Primal Dawn 3 x Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle 2 x Skymarcher Aspirant 2 x Sanctum Seeker |

Post subject: | Re: Constructed Decks |
Looks like an interesting twist on the typical vampire decks. Aren't the matches over before you get a chance to play Zetalpa? I've been mixing up my decks quite a bit too. I cracked into Master league last night. Then I lost a match and got punted back to Diamond 0! WTF! Lost 3 ranks! I digress. I've been having so much fun with a few decks. Most of my losses are due to weird mana floods or mulligans down to 3-4 cards. I blew through Diamond league with these two decks. I have a Jund deck that I keep tweaking as I unlock cards. It's been the most consistent winner since I built it. It just keeps getting better. Sideboard isn't perfect, but has a lot of answers. 1 x Tetzimoc, Primal Death 6 x Swamp 3 x Thrashing Brontodon 7 x Forest 2 x Ripjaw Raptor 3 x Carnage Tyrant 3 x Ravenous Chupacabra 1 x Twilight Prophet 2 x Thunderherd Migration 3 x Savage Stomp 2 x Vraska, Relic Seeker 1 x Angrath, the Flame-Chained 1 x Mountain 1 x Arguel's Blood Fast 3 x Moment of Craving 1 x Walk the Plank 2 x Vraska's Contempt 2 x Golden Demise 1 x Journey to Eternity 1 x Treasure Map 2 x Mastermind's Acquisition 4 x Foul Orchard 4 x Evolving Wilds 1 x Arch of Orazca 1 x Field of Ruin 1 x Dragonskull Summit 1 x Rootbound Crag Sideboard: 1 x Ravenous Chupacabra 1 x Dire Fleet Daredevil 1 x Sunbird's Invocation 1 x Slice in Twain 1 x Verdant Sun's Avatar 1 x Raging Swordtooth 1 x Boneyard Parley 1 x Lightning Strike 1 x Recover 1 x Field of Ruin 1 x Savage Stomp 1 x Twilight Prophet 1 x Rekindling Phoenix 1 x Golden Demise 1 x Vraska, Relic Seeker This one I just built a couple of days ago, but it's had an absolutely astonishing win rate. I won about 8 in a row in Diamond with it, before bouncing over to the Jund deck. Super basic strategy. Ramp to Carnage Tyrants as soon as possible, GG. Baffling End/Ixalan's deals with the key threats while you ramp. Those, along with the Thrashing Brontodons do a great job at breaking up combos. The ramp is actually pretty decent. I think the consistency with two colors can not be understated either. Almost never have issues with bad draws with this deck. One change I made recently is ditching Drover of the Mighty. Dies far too easily. 4 x Kinjalli's Caller 5 x Plains 3 x Baffling End 2 x Kinjalli's Sunwing 4 x Ixalan's Binding 2 x Settle the Wreckage 7 x Forest 4 x Savage Stomp 3 x Thrashing Brontodon 3 x Ripjaw Raptor 3 x Carnage Tyrant 2 x Verdant Sun's Avatar 1 x Arch of Orazca 1 x Field of Ruin 1 x Sunpetal Grove 3 x Tranquil Expanse 4 x Evolving Wilds 1 x Zetalpa, Primal Dawn 2 x Thunderherd Migration 2 x Commune with Dinosaurs 3 x New Horizons |

Have visited this site from afar every so often, finally decided to contribute something. Here's the deck I've been having the most fun with in Arena: Creatures (14): 3x Mist-Cloaked Herald 2x River Sneak 2x Storm Fleet Aerialists 3x Storm Fleet Sprinter 2x Protean Raider 1x Seafloor Oracle 1x Fleet Swallower Instants (15): 3x Perilous Voyage 4x Lightning Strike 3x Cancel 2x Hornswoggle 2x Lookout's Dispersal 1x Spell Swindle Sorcery (5): 3x Chart a Course 2x River's Rebuke Enchantments (4): 4x Navigator's Ruin Land (22): 13x Island 9x Mountain Due to lack cards, its not perfected. Would like to play 4x Storm Fleet Sprinter and a couple other tweaks to the creatures, but you get the idea to the deck. Any suggestions? |

Even before coffee I would say I'd go for a fourth Lightning and ditch the Unfriendly. |

I just joined yesterday and made me a pair of decks. So far my most consistent deck is my Gruul midrange deck, been curve stomping Merfolk and Vampires with it: Raging Dinos 6 x Mountain 11 x Forest 4 x Rootbound Crag 2 x Field of Ruin 4 x Commune with Dinosaurs 4 x Reckless Rage 2 x Shapers' Sanctuary 4 x Drover of the Mighty 4 x Savage Stomp 4 x Ranging Raptors 4 x Ripjaw Raptor 4 x Raging Swordtooth 4 x Regisaur Alpha 1 x Carnage Tyrant 2 x Ghalta, Primal Hunger So far Ranging Raptors have been a lot better than I thought and Ghalta has single handedly won me several games. Hitting Ghalta right after a regisaur alpha can be back breaking. |

Dino's are horribly powerful. I have been stomping them with my Vamps which has changed slightly once again. It's so damn quick with a good draw and good draws are pretty easy. It's going to be hell soon though dealing with the wipe. |

My Kitties Wildcards are very hard to come by in this econ and I've only had about 10 games with this so far and have only cracked a pack or two. Needs moor Regal and Pouncers and the removal of some things to really reach efficiency but for now it's fun and pretty fast and..... it's Kitties! I say this is still a work in progress but it's base is nice. Way better than the precon I modified it from. There are a few things that don't seem to belong (Sunwing, Vangard) and they are there as more curve placeholders than anything. Cat Party 2 x Regal Caracal 1 x Adorned Pouncer 1 x Anointer Priest 1 x Appeal /// Authority 1 x Desert's Hold 3 x Feral Prowler 7 x Forest 2 x Hashep Oasis 1 x Imperial Aerosaur 3 x Initiate's Companion 2 x Ixalan's Binding 9 x Plains 3 x Pouncing Cheetah 2 x Pride Sovereign 3 x Radiant Destiny 3 x Sacred Cat 2 x Shefet Dunes 2 x Strength of the Pack 1 x Sunscourge Champion 1 x Watchers of the Dead 3 x Evolving Wilds 1 x Compulsory Rest 1 x Adanto Vanguard 1 x Kinjalli's Sunwing 1 x Gideon of the Trials 2 x Skymarcher Aspirant 1 x Anointed Procession |

Post subject: | Re: Constructed Decks |
My bestest deck post-wipe. GOA and I are basically having a friendly contest to see who's build is more successful and I think we are both tied honestly. I recommend trying this deck as the current meta seems to have Dimir drooling all over it. This deck has no problem making Dimir players cry although the games can be seriously long. There's not much more I would do to this deck except add another Phoenix so that gives you a deck that only requires two mythics and a handful of rares to build and that equals pretty good with the current economy. This deck regularly casts Cryptic Serpent's for two islands. Once again as is normal for me it's a pretty easy and self explanatory game play. Dump out cheap instants/sorcery to make big flyers. Attack with and if needed Fling said big flyers. (you ain't)Got That Swing(if you ain't got that fling) 2 x Cryptic Serpent 9 x Island 4 x Enigma Drake 8 x Mountain 3 x Opt 3 x Unsummon 1 x Chart a Course 1 x Censor 2 x Essence Scatter 2 x Negate 2 x Strategic Planning 3 x Fling 3 x Lightning Strike 2 x Abrade 2 x Magma Spray 1 x Dual Shot 2 x Evolving Wilds 1 x Field of Ruin 1 x Expel from Orazca 2 x Highland Lake 2 x Bloodwater Entity 2 x Puncturing Blow 1 x Search for Azcanta 1 x Rekindling Phoenix |
