I tried the original mono-blue nabanicon goldfish deck and evolved from there. I recently saw a video of a mono blue version by Thelma with time of ice, but I think the izzet version is more versatile, closes games out much faster and doesn't have as many bad match-ups.
I dunno that pile, this one is built around Curious obsession + Slither blade and Tempest Djin, it has some tempo plays and lots of counters, you should try it out, I havent messed with the original build, but I would not miss Harvester for a sec.

Yeah, I watched cgb play that deck and get run over by other aggro decks. I messed around with blue aggro a while back, with winds. Even made a version with Sai and artifact spam. It was ok, but inconsistent.
I like curious obsession, but it just doesn't work with the blink game-plan, which I find catches most opponents off-guard. I even think that deck would be better as izzet, of course the djinns wouldn't be nearly as good though, so they'd probably get the axe. The new izzet cards look very promising though and wizard tribal may very well be a thing soon. Fun times ahead
So what's your guys' take on a wizard deck these days? Been experimenting a bit with it recently, but it feels kind of inconsistent compared to other tempo decks in the meta. But Naban, Dean of Iteration and Naru Meha, Master Wizard are so fun.
The general idea is to just swarm with wizards, get as much value from Naban and ETBs as possible, with Murmuring Mystic as sort of a backup wincon. But the deck is pretty creature-heavy for izzet, so he doesn't really get that much value. But the dream of having Naban and the mystic on the board, then copying a spell twice with Naru Meha, gotta be a fun combo.
Anyone have any advice for a good, competitive wizard deck atm?

Problem with bounce is golgari etb value decks are very popular. I made an Arclight deck with adeliz instead of drakes that was ok, but generally inferior to the drake versions.
