My goodness. I had no idea this was going to happen after reaching mythic for the first time.

I'm not inclined to play. The preparation required is just so humongous. Once several years ago I played in such a Hearthstone tournament and it was pretty stressful, because they wanted three decks and I only knew how to play two. I was pretty relieved to be eliminated in the first round as a result. Reading about what professional players do while preparing for the Pro Tour is also intimidating, I surmise it takes roughly 2 weeks of 12+ hour workdays before one can even say one is moderately prepared. Without preparation I'd just be making up the numbers, which is not something I want to do.

Did anyone else qualify? If so are you playing? How are you intending to prepare?

Also, am I legally allowed to transfer the invitation to someone else?

Yeah it's basically a freeball to play, can play at your own pace and even if you don't careyou might get lucky and get some prizes

Well yeah I guess it's free to play, but I'd be going in to be a punching bag. That's just not my style. Besides, I haven't been playing well lately - last month I failed to reach mythic in limited in spite of playing a lot.

If the invite is transferable, I'm happy to give it to someone else.

Obviously invitationals are not transferable.

No, I made it to see if anyone else qualified and if so what they were doing to prepare + if they wanted to prepare together. Nobody answered, which contributed to the decision not to play.

I find it quite funny you think not making mythic is something to brag about.

I might've considered outright loaning someone else my account, but meh.
