So yeah, I haven't seen much talk about Arena Cube on here. Let's start some conversation. Have you been playing it? If so, have you been enjoying it? I've been quite impressed with the format; it basically always leads to a powerful deck with fluid, fun games. Major downside: The event payout is . I'd love to see them up the rewards just a tiny bit; because the format is a ton of fun, but the reward structure might deter some players who might otherwise enjoy the cube. |

I've done two so far. Got to five wins in both cases. I was actually surprised at how easy it was to advance, seeing as it's pretty hard not to end up with a strong deck. First deck was an Izzet aggro deck with a bit of tempo in. It was honestly a blast to play. Charging Monstrosaur followed up by a Spark Double copying Charging Monstrosaur pretty much had me sailing to 5-0. Next time I went Golgari. Basically stuffed Vraska, Garruk and Vivien Arkbow in a deck with some other goodstuff cards. The deck wasn't as fun or synergistic as my first, but it got the job done. Final record was 5-2. The rewards structure is bad, but so far I've profited each time. I wonder if it has to do with my MMR... |

I played 2 and it was FUUUUN!!! Aggro is way good here, coz everyone goes nuts with greedy cards.... One of my piles was a 5 color abomination with lots of fixing... I swapped to Golgari after but If I did it again I would try to build Aggro... That said the pools are insane. |
