The idea is to go superwide with Deeproot Waters (trying to break arena), make ton of mana with Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun, draw a bunch of cards with Tishana, Voice of Thunder and repeat step 1-3. No dual land is a bit harsh but the deck is 80% green. Shapers of Nature is another good mana sink, you can use it at instant speed the turn you flip the land, put counters, draw cards. Some problems against flyers, but the deck has the ability to race them, otherwise there could be space for Crushing Canopy, but only after testing. Wotc doesn't understand what cool means, i just wanted to break arena on stream

Arena will mirror Standard, and the smallest Standard gets these days is 5 Sets.

BTW, I really don't see the point of a subforum for this right now.

At launch? Or in 2 years? I haven't actually seen any hard confirmation. But it would make a big difference if it was going to be 5 sets at launch.

At launch. If you look closely to that first trailer they released, you'll notice some Kaladesh cards, which is the oldest Set in Standard right now (which also pretty much confirms the game will be launched at some point before the next rotation).

Other than this type of dinos list, nothing really sparks any interest in me due to weak removal and reliable wincons. Would love to do a Primal Amulet deck with a full standard card pool.

BBB, I was looking at similar. I think we only have the tools to go ramp, but personally I wanted to make midrange work instead, like you tried to do. In either case, the mana is a mess.

Mana options aren't great all round post rotation. Hoping we get the other half of the cycle in Rivals, but given how they're focused on Shards atm (Grixis, Naya) it wouldn't surprise me if they passed the opportunity. Midrange is better with the full standard card pool (Bristling Hydra for example).

Can I ask for a link where its been confirmed Ixilan only? Not doubting anyone but i've only seen them talk about standard and not this block constructed stuff, cheers.

It was stated on the initial stream closed beta is XLN only. More blocks will be added "as they see fit" i.e. "when they are ready to".

I'll ask Althalus to get it done.

As for a dedicated deck list sub, let's hold off for now - we don't even know what cards we would have access to. We will start to develop traffic here eventually, but for now you guys just let me know if threads deserve stickies, etc... PM me as needed.

Once this sub starts getting traffic we'll bolt on new features. Please remember we've already got some of the things we'd need in other parts of the forum - for example constructed already exists assuming we get access to all Standard cards at launch. I'd want to incorporate everything together both for ease of use, and so that we don't separate topics in a divisive fashion.

Also, I'm around so let's have a discussion if you guys want.

Stasis

The fact that everyone is going to be running 4x Huntmaster/Ripjaw/Regisaur/Tyrant makes me think the difference makers are going to be Kinjalli's Caller & Sunwing. Ferocidon is an amazingly powerful card for its cost, but doesn't do all that much in the mirror, and it's most powerful against vampires but those get crushed by the Dino core regardless.
