I just managed to beat it with mono-black discard aggro, and got the "DID YOU HAVE FUN?" question. Tricky. Yes it was fun to beat Fires in that particular game, smily face. Feels like I'm approving cancer.

Well you are playing a deck that has no answer to enchantments + sweepers. Fires has serious weaknesses, e.g. it's extremely vulnerable to Disdainful Stroke (but of course you need blue mana to cast that).

But we do have a post-ban meta snapshot now, and Fires is one of the top decks, so we can definitely expect to see it more.

They say Fires is really vulnerable to Simic Flash. But that's fighting fire with the plague..

I mainly play green and/or black, loathe blue so no-go. Well my mono green stompy just lost 4 Once Upon A Time, so I have 4 slots to put enchantment hate in. What would you recommend for a green stompy? Flaxen Intruder seems too slow.Return To Nature seems good enough to main-deck a couple, also gets rid of Witch's Oven.
