Actually, buried in all of this, there is a valid point: since the economy won't lend itself to automatically having all of the cards, there may be some value in a deck subforum where people can talk about "grinding" decks, which will have no bearing on Standard play. Okay, I'll pitch that up the ladder.

It's also entirely possible that Arena will have a very different meta than "regular Standard" due to the high number of people who will only play for free. Not sure if it will make enough of a difference to justify another forum, but on the other hand, I don't think there's any real downside to having an Arena specific forum. :shrug:
