I lack the power to make that decision unilaterally. Can you give me a solid reason why Arena (which will be standard - from what I understand) can't just use the Deck section we've already got on NGA? (Please note, I'm not trying to argue against that decision, but I'd like some help to build the case).

Right yeah I kinda had a mind lapse about this so there's not really a point, though I wonder if the economy couldn't play a point in things.

I guess you could argue that Standard will be one format on Arena but the game should have more formats, I believe it will at least have Standard and Draft, as the sets rotate out WOTC might start adding more formats, so I guess it would be wise to give those formats a subforum under the Arena umbrella.

I agree and I think it’s the only way to attract new people. There are lots of Magic forums out there already.

New people, will come for what they cannot find on Discord and Reddit, that used to be organized play, real good debates and contests on deckbuilding.
Arena is beginning to grow and it will become bigger in the next months-Providing that WOTC don **** it up-, discord will handle all the newbies... hell they are great at that, Origin and Rob are great hosts but the channel will become super crowded... Reddit will continue to downvote every 2 days which set to grind first... even if Holy and Origin keep making tutorials for them...this place used to have the best community, filled with pretty amazing players and builders, it also used to produce a lot of media content Hakeem, CGB, LVD, just to mention a few ... hell at its lowest this place got Soup and Barney judging a pretty amazing deck-building contest...what I´m trying to say is that If you guys set strong foundations and clear easy to navigate topics on the Arena subforum this place will thrive again and that would be awesome...

Actually, buried in all of this, there is a valid point: since the economy won't lend itself to automatically having all of the cards, there may be some value in a deck subforum where people can talk about "grinding" decks, which will have no bearing on Standard play. Okay, I'll pitch that up the ladder.

Thanks man. Also, eventually this will come to consoles and will have Limited and I'm hoping 2hg and other things strictly attuned to this game so having the info here will be the thing. I actually see the Duels forum dying in the next couple of years and this one taking it's place.

Hey duels is not dead until:
- Barney crashes the -1/-1 counters deck I gave him! ... -I will pretend I didnt gave you a beautiful Gruul deck for Christmas -
- Flaky wraps up the last round of his contest
- I send Yondar his MTG T-shirt and Little pony socks for winning the Hour of compensation Tourney and upload a photo of his feets wearing the socks.

Then and only then we can gather at Soup´s villa and say farewell to good old Duels.

Alright folks, we should have a subforum ready to go in the next few days. It will be based on the Magic Duels Constructed Forum and run the same format (as I will explain once it's been created).

Please remember: while this is a sub for Arena users, we'd still like you all to consider posting decks in the main constructed forum of the site as well - and you may discover that you prefer doing so, as we have plenty of users in that section, some of whom are expert builders. That said, this will certainly be the appropriate place to post decks intended for earning quick gold/gems, and ideas for easy to assemble competitive decks (e.g.: decks that don't require a full complement of every rare/mythic).

I'll move my stuff up there when I get home from work. You all need to try my Drake/Fling deck!
Went 8 for 10 in a best of last night and played against basically every decent meta deck. Twice against Nasty Fish People I think I might remember.
I might post all of them on my YT or Twitch channel soon. If I do I may replay one of the games and get rid of one of the Merfolk games and keep the variety stronger.

All purpose winner with only one mythic. There will be two once I craft or crack another Phoenix. My newest addition, Protean Raider, was a good decision.
