Hi,

I'm looking for a mono black deck and I don't know which type of deck would be more convenient: aggro, midrange or control.

I'm not a strong player, I just want a deck that would be pleasant for me with enough efficiency to have fun.

PS: Do we have a indentation of the forum of Magic Arena like the Magic Duels one's ? By type of deck (mono, bi-tri-color).

Without there being any particularly strong mono black finishers like Torment of Hailfire I'd think the best way to do this would be as an aggro deck. There's a fair amount of aggressive black one drops and cheap removal though the deck probably folds to chainwhirler and mono-red/white weenie in general. Could certainly beat some midrange/control decks though. A rakdos version would be more competitive I think.

Another strategy might be an aggressive midrange deck with the new sacrifice priest, but I think this'd probably be better as a multicoloured deck.

Could also play a discard-heavy midrange deck in bo3 and just hope to get their win conditions, but again I think you'd want either blue or red (or both) in there as well (for Thought Erasure, shock, lava coil, maybe rekindling pheonix and the new Hellkite).

If not, this was a deck I'd have liked to try.

On a budget though, red and blue are probably much, much stronger to get you started. This is only related to your wish of being efficient. If you want to be black, go for it

Mono blue aggro/tempo is cheap and effective. Takes a little skill to pilot but read the mono blue primer thread in constructed. Very strong deck.
