Just venting on the slow play I keep seeing. I think I have quit about a dozen games the last 2 weeks, even when ahead because I want to actually play the game.

Tonight on the Quick Constructed I quit 2 games because people were taking so long, and I was just done for the night. Granted, I was behind in both games, but I would have played it out if they were not taking so long Every. Single. Phase.

I had one game where I could see the two cards he had in hand......and he had NO plays, but he just stared at the cards to drag it out. I won a few turns later, and if it was not a decent streak on Quick, I would have bailed on that as well. I think that is the only thing I really dislike about the quick constructed format, I am less inclined to drop games, but I am starting to not really care. They can have the win, I just want to actually play the game.

That aside, maybe I should start streaming. At least when I streamed on duels I would have a record for the incident and somehow that made me feel better.

Lots of people are crashing and such so I dunno if perhaps sometimes it is just that, though I dunno why people would risk it on Quick Constructed given how easy the crash is when you're one of the effected (aka it crashes as soon as games start or you just try and play a card).

The game is also extremely laggy for certain people at the moment. I have 100 GB up and 100 down, I'm running the game on a system that can run Skyrim at near max settings, and I'm still experiencing quite a bit of lag every so often. I can't imagine what anyone with "bad" internet or a worse PC is experiencing. The game is not optimized at all as far as I can tell, because there isn't enough going on that this should be that more intensive than something like HS or Gwent.

I know that can be an issue, I have been victim as well. I guess what annoys me is when I can see they are mousing over their cards and just not doing anything. Those are the people that I know are in game.

Anyway, just venting in general. Seems like it is not a widespread issue.

very slow play, both laggy and badcons but also very f slow play. i recon ppl have too much time on their hands

Aaaah... do you now? Really? Unless GB is somehow short for "great balls" or "ginger braids", perhaps you have 100/100Mbit?

I know, rather irrelevant. I'm in a similar boat, 500/500Mbit fibre to my house, internal Gbit wiring, beefy pc with all the bells and whistles and I've also experienced a few episodes. Although, in a beta where they might(almost certainly!) be trying to optimize exactly how few resources they can run the servers on, as that has a cost - I figure it's to be expected.

I'm in the US Midwest. I supposedly pay for "up to" 100mg also. $60 a month and you'd think it would be better than this. My pc is wireless to a nice dual band router and it's the only device on the 5mghrz channel with a full signal so that's not taking much out of it.
Tested to a Chicago server from the St. Louis area. Still way better than the line of site wireless 5mg down we had when we lived out in the country but not nearly what they advertise.
That's what you get with local monopolies though, eh?
