So the idea here is a bunch of Cartouches bouncing Trials, all of which trigger Sigil of the Empty Throne, which may spawn double tokens from Anointed Procession. The rest of the deck either has synergy with enchantments, tokens and/or the Human sub-theme. Creatures (18): 2x Hanweir Militia Captain (Human. Should be fairly easy to flip in a token spawning deck. Then spawns more tokens) 2x Thalia's Lieutenant (Human synergy) 2x Glory-Bound Initiate (Human. With Trial of Solidarity ETB, it can exert without tapping) 2x Kari Zev, Skyship Raider (Human. Only temporary tokens.. so possibly on the chopping block.. for Thalia or Knight of the White Orchid) 2x Harsh Mentor (Human. Generally good ability) 3x Honored Crop-Captain (Human. Buffs other creatures) 2x Auramancer (Human. Enchantment recursion) 2x Hanweir Garrison (Human. Tokens) 1x Oketra the True (Should be easy to meet the 3 creature requirement. Spawns tokens). Enchantments (16): 4x Cartouche of Solidarity 2x Cartouche of Zeal 2x Trial of Solidarity 2x Trial of Zeal 2x Anointed Procession 2x Sigil of the Empty Throne Sorcery (2): 2x Collective Effort Walkers (2): Gideon, Ally of Zendikar Nahiri, the Harbinger Lands (24): 10x Plains 10x Mountains 2x Needle Spires 2x Clifftop Retreat The core of the deck are the cards mentioned in the first sentence above. Everything else is optional.. It might even work as white/blue with Cartouche/Trial of Knowledge and Drake Haven tokens. It's probably more of a fun deck than competitive, as it wont always work, but when it does, it should be ridiculous. Thoughts? |

FYI - Karl isn't going to have synergy with Anointed Procession out. His token is legendary so you'll only ever have 1 in play. |

Haven_pt built this deck here: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=18643 Your version is weird. Cards like Hanweir Garrison and Honored Crop-Captain are aggro cards - they want to attack and keep attacking. On the other hand you're also running Sigil of the Empty Throne, which is a card that wants you to sit back and defend, and Auramancer, which wants to play a slow grindy game. I think Haven_pt's version is better and would give that list a try, taking ideas from there. |

This one is more of a quirky off-shoot that tries to gain additional benefit from the bouncing enchantments. It's still capable of winning as an aggro deck before Sigil ever comes into play. But I do see your point that the aggro potency is diluted by including some slow/defensive things. As I said the core idea is there, the rest is optional. It could work better as a defensive deck with lock down enchantments like Suppression Bonds, Cast Out. |
