The time of the Pro Tour has arrived, and with that also the time to establish who built the best Abzan Revolt deck. Here's the rules (only an experiment): viewtopic.php?p=532836#p532836 Anyone can join this poll, by building all these decks and testing them. Then you can vote up to 2 decklists, the one with the best record and if you want the one with the second best record or a decklist that you enjoyed particularly. It will be nice if you can also post the record for any decklist and leave feedbacks for the decks you enjoyed. Only the best decklist will win, but having feedbacks for all the decklists is appreciated and also a reward for people who joined this contest. Let's see the options: DJ0045

The Secret of TIMH

So, 7 decklists for 7 days, they could be a lot to test properly, but a week for the poll should be enough. Let's have fun testing them, they are very different and i'm sure also fun to use, and let's see who is the best (revolt) deckbuilder! |

I forgot we were even doing this; I would've submitted something. Anywho, I'll give my feedback for everyone soon. How many games do we play for each deck? |

i wish i had time to playtest all 7, that would be really really fun. maybe I'll try tonight... how long do I have to vote? Normally I'd just vote for my favourite builders but I like 4 of the builders here so I guess I'll have to playtest. As soon as a deck loses, the playtesting stops btw. I can't be bothered going for first-to-two-losses this time around. Thanks to Joker and all the deckbuilders for putting this all together. it really looks like fun. can i hazard a guess as to what I think might be best and worst based on the lists only? I really like the focus of Gem's list the best. He is only running 2 mythics which is REALLY bold. I'm a fan. On the other end of the spectrum, TIMH's list is a total dog's breakfast. I think it'll be the worst performing of the bunch by far. I love him as a deckbuilder though, this is just my initial guess. Please don't vote based on this observations cuz I haven't tried any of the decks yet. That's tonight's homework for Barney. Also an honourable mention to sleephumper for being the only guy to post a nice formatted list that's pretty to look at and easy to follow. Well done. Extra points! |

It depends on how much time you have to test them and how many games you feel are enough. I don't wanna give a lower bound at the games needed, but i would like that every of these decks will be tested, without leaving one out because it has been judged not the best. Also i hope the people vote only if they actually tested these decks, to make it a bit more indicative. The deadline for the poll is the 10th of this month, same as for the tourneys i think, a bit unfortunate taking time for the testing, but let's see how this experiment goes. |

Wth Barnistan... my deck runs only 1 mythic, ya jerk. I'll try to play test some of these this weekend too. I won't vote for my own, as that seems silly, so I'll vote for 2 out of the rest of em. |

...if you know what i mean. lol, DJ caught me not really looking over his list that much. I still printed it though and will playtest it, can't wait. DJ, i think it's okay if you vote for you own, i kind of assume everyone will do that. Otherwise you're gonna be like that idiot in Election that didn't vote for himself and lost in a tie. |

But if that was Gem, he could've tossed his second vote to, ya know, anyone else. |

that's why i'm almost positive it's Gem cuz if he gave his vote to someone else, it decreases slightly the chance of him winning. So he'd only vote for himself. |

I know it's Gem because his list is junk and yet someone voted for it. |

i still maintain that his list looks the most solid pre-playtesting. Can't wait to take these abortions out for a spin |

I take that as an offense. I always, always give the same format to my lists...and it's by mana cost. And the lands spaced by kind. I can tell how many creatures (more or less) or enchantments, artifacts etc there are in a list, I don't need you to spell it to me... but the mana curve/distribution is not that obvious, beign probably the most important factor for a good brew...so formating the brews that way maximizes the useful information at a glance...at the expense, that I must admit, of some stylism in the presentation...if you are the kind of person that like basic forms and colors, I mean... I think it's ok too...if you are an unclassy pleb with self-steem issues...which is what I guess you kind of assume about everyone...not a bad bet, but unpolite |

Ok, doublepost FTW I see there are 2 Call/Crats brews (Gemini and Elk) 2 Energy (DJ's and mine) and then one Wide (Timh) one Throne build (Humper) and one Bond based (Vert) Nice! love the diversity...going to spin some games |

I'm halfway done building the decks, this is taking forever. Going to take a small break. I can't wait to try all 7. This is really fun, the first time I've been excited to play for sometime |
