I believe you that Elves may be good again.. but I don't believe that particular deck list looks very good.
Pretty much this. I would start by cutting the
and just going with the standard G/B Elves. Then we'll go from there.
Elves are on my 'to do' list for AER, so I might have a crack at it right now.
Edit; here's my take on AER Elves
Creatures4x
Thornbow Archer3x
Narnam Renegade3x
Dwynen's Elite1x
Greenwheel Liberator (not sure about this.. mostly included for testing)
2x
Druid of the Cowl (might try to get more of these in.. very good for early mana/ramp)
2x
Reclamation Sage2x
Silkweaver Elite (not amazing but the card draw and Reach are handy.. subject to testing)
3x
Shaman of the Pack2x
Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen3x
Lys Alana Huntsmaster (the heart & soul of any token elf deck)
1x
Cultivator of Blades (additional wincon with lots of Elves on the board)
Vehicles1x
Smuggler's Copter1x
Aethersphere HarvesterEnchantments1x
Evolutionary Leap (great for pseudo removal protection, revolt activations, or sacrificing 1/1 tokens to fetch proper creatures)
Instant/Sorcery2x
Fatal Push2x
Bone Splinters (imo this is now relevant again for
revolt decks, especially this one with lots of expendable 1/1 tokens to sac)
2x
Grasp of Darkness (solid card but could be replaced with more Push/Splinters)
1x
Yahenni's Expertise (board reset if things go bad and cast a bonus card. Alternative:
Languish for stronger sweep but no bonus cast)
WalkersNissa, Voice of Zendikar (pumping every creature when you have this many of them is a big deal)
Lands (23)8x Forest
3x Swamp
2x
Hissing Quagmire2x
Woodland Cemetary4x
Evolving Wilds (revolt activator)
1x
Aether Hub (mostly to get 1 more Lifelink from the Harverster)
I'd also like to fit in a
Rogue's Passage to break stalemates, but needs to be combo'd with a pump spell like
Might of the Masses for lethal
