No lie. T2 you can't afford to be wasting time casting 1/1s that grab lands. You're looking at a 4/4 T3 or a 5/5 T4 against any decent player. Only the best cards make the non-land cut. If you don't want to be savage, you could remove the Jace and replace the Sunken Hollow w/ basics. It's just there for Oath of Nissa lol. |

So, this is the deck you brought against me. It's simple to exploit once you know how it works unfortunately. |

The good thing is that cards that smash this suck against Eldrazi Midrange. Also, you need to hold your mana back and manually tap. If the game taps and I don't see 3 mana w/ 2 blue open, then I'm good. |

This mana base is nowhere near adequate. You've only got nine red sources, and two blue. Really, really ugly. You don't have enough black sources either to support your 7 (!) double black cards. That said, there are enough good cards in the deck that I'm sure it's not terrible. Hard to go wrong with "throw one of each of the best cards in and call it good". |

I don't play Blue. Those Sunken Hollows should not be there, Jace is only cast w/ Oath of Nissa on board. You can't run Jacetice League w/o Jace obvs. There are 14 black mana sources. Ask Genemi if it looks like I have Mana problems lol. W/ the free mulligan you shouldn't be having mana issues. Deck is fine unless you start adding bad cards (pls no 4WW Angel or BattleToad). Update: Apparently Call of Oathwatch is at 2, and is in my last pack of OGW. I can finally remove the Sylvan Ranger. |

I chose to work on unlocking SOI first so I can't test any legit super friends yet, but with the limited number of basics, so many Zendikar rare lands, more than half your removal wanting double color, and only being able to run 2 Nissa's oath - it looks like if the magic gods aren't smiling on your draws, you're screwed against competitive decks... Just looking at the list it feels like you'll get a few awesome draw games and own, mixed in with a lot of dead-before-you-can-get-rolling games. |

I took out Call the Gatewatch for Greenwarden of Murasa and have been very happy with the switch. There's a lot of very powerful things in my graveyard almost every match. It's three cards in one.. and it affects the board immediately. I think it's significantly better. |

I'm running Greenwarden too (isn't everyone apart from Chaing?) but I'm also trailing a Pulse at the minute and it has been really good for me. As you say there is always something in the graveyard, and recycling sweepers etc has proved to be super beneficial. Also, that mana base leaves a lot to be desired. Running 26 land isn't a substitute for fixing: there is a reason everyone else running this deck has skew towards green - it makes the deck more consistent. |

Oh, they patched the bug. Before it was garbage. I guess I can run it now. Keep the Gatewatch, remove the Ranger and add the Greenwarden. RN I'm not good enough to run the 2nd Anguished Unmaking bcuz I haven't quite gotten the hang of it. |
