...get a land? Are we talking about the same 3-mana Nissa? I thought you were playing token buffing Nissa planeswalker? Isn't that the one that should be in this deck. I'm so confused :(

So you use 4-mana Chandra to play turn five big girl chandra? I guess you could use t4 to take out a creature? I don't know if that's our best line but I'm anxious to try that. you're right that we have a bunch of big t6 plays in this deck so that's cool that you found a way to get her out on t5

help me out with the 3-mana Nissa, i'm all mixed up

From Beyond is criminally underused in the current format. It should get a massive power bump with revolt.

Magic's a simple game, 2 people take turns playing cards and in the end Divinevert wins 2-0...

The deck runs all three Nissas, but you're right, Voice of Zendikar is the straight PW version, not the flip version.

it runs ALL THREE NISSAS?!?! And I had a major beef with him running two Nissas. Beast!! What is Vastwood Seer doing in this thing?!

...ok ok, i'll calm down. Let me run it the way you envision it before I say anything. If I get an opening draw with 3x Nissa, I'm going to keep it.

Vert, what does revolt do?

I really hope we don't get that Chief Compliance Officer blue dude that makes instants and sorceries cheap while allowing you to cycle. That card will be a nightmare for me.

Revolt are cards that gain a bonus for permanents leaving play. Obvious From Beyond are mana bugs that can be sacrificed at will, to make sure Revolt always triggers while also ramping you.

Yeah.. it runs all three Nissas. They're all disposable as F though. The 3 mana plant maker, +1 to make a plant and get her to 4 loyalty.. then -2 her twice to buff the army. Who cares if she dies. Flip Nissa, get your land, and if she survives to 7 mana.. great.. if not, so what. Vital Force.. +1 to swing with your land or protect.. then ultimate her for never ending card advantage. It's a token deck.. everything is moderately, if not totally disposable. Don't get attached to anything. I'll trade 4/5 Advocates and Trackers off after they've given me 2-3 clues all day long. I can consistently build a bigger board than my opponent. The only card you want to make sure lives is Hanweir Garrison.

I hope we don't get that blue f'er too.

Started playing this last night against AI just to get a feel for it. It’s really fun and just FEELS strong which is a characteristic of Beasts decks. Got both Chandra in opening hand, couldn't bring myself to T5 big Chandra. Little Chandra was just doing too much work. I ended up discarding big Chandra with Copter for something even better.

Will bring into lobbies tonight probably. Nice job, yo

Thanks. I tried to stream in the other night.. went 2 and 2. Both losses were when I took a 2 mana hand, never drew my 3rd or 4th land, and the opponent dropped turn 4 Gideon on the play. Makes me want to add a 25th land and something to tag planeswalkers like Exquisite Firecraft or Devour in Flames. Moral of the story.. don't take 2 mana openers.. even with an Elvish Visionary (which the first loss had).

i like the idea of adding a 25th land and 2x Firecraft.

I'd recommend taking out 3 Planeswalkers if we do that. Flip Nissa, Big Nissa and either Chandra (no idea which).

But I haven't tried it yet in the lobbies so I can't speak for sure to this.

If I were going to do that, it'd be flip Nissa and Big Chandra.. they're the least performing ones. The other three do work though.

I've won a LOT of games on the back of big Nissa.

I just realized From Beyond also nets us T5 Chandra. We got more than one way to do that which is cool.

Dammit, my 2nd oldest deck has ran into two losses in a row finally. This beastly deck by Beast was a monster for opponents to deal with. I once went on a 22-0 win streak with this before falling to Boros Vehucles.

Final record is 55-10

In my ongoing quest since Duels began to find the ultimate deck (measured by the last to fall to two straight losses), I’m pleased to announce Beasts Making Big Plays came in 6th place

Only five decks remain. I won’t say what they are but I will reveal the deck builders:
WoodlandWanderer
Haven
Haven again
Joly
Zerris (this deck is currently on a 27-0 winning streak)

Look forward to further updates...

Yeah I don’t know why your decks give me so much trouble. They must be inconsistent for me with my play style, I dunno. Havens builds seem really well suited for me.

These win streaks are nuts but for some reason the final records never seem insanely impressive ever. Just very strong.

Anyway five decks left before I crown the best deck ever of Duels. It might not ever happen either cuz none of these decks might ever lose two in a row

They stopped releasing new sets

The card pool is big enough that plenty of fun can still be had. I have five great decks I live to play and I get a match going in seconds. Huge player group still
