Tims build deserves negative points

Congrats to Gem and Maggit! Awesome builds.

Elk your deck was super fun to play, not a worry, I loved it.

Curious about something.... how would you rank the decks in terms of how revolting they were?

Tims deck was the most revolting

Gems deck is impressive cuz he purposely nerfed the deck to make it revolting and it still wins

Barney's posts need a "Results not typical, do not run these decks in lobbies" warning, imo

Magic's a simple game, 2 people take turns playing cards and in the end Divinevert wins 2-0...

but i did run these decks in lobbies! These aren't AI matches.

You're just sore that your deck had an early fall to a tight radkos build :)

No, 2-1 seems right in line with the quality of my deck. 7-0 with two of these builds speaks terribly to the quality of play in the Xbox lobbies tbh.

I playtested DJ0045's Deck, I just replaced the Solemn Recruit with Anguished Unmaking
and it is fun to play with it, it's synergies harmonizes very well due to that it is fun to play with it.

So far I did not loose a single game with it (4-0 winning streak)

2 of the matches were monored aggro
1 was vehicles (with black splash)
1 was a kinda UW Controll with angels

 So far !

Was one of those wins a turn 0 concession? That was a representative win that DJs deck got with me

Vert, again you are discounting my great gift of being able to pilot a garbage truck to land on the Hudson if I have to. I can work miracles baby

i like that quote! (GEM! I wrote this BEFORE you edited your post to ask about it! Isn't that weird?? I especially like that they use the term "wise" rather than "intelligent", I think that's accurate)

Honestly the single most impressive thing about your deck is that even with mana issues, it would consistently win. GIven that mana issues are the crux of any Magic deck, being able to win in spite of it must be the mark of a pretty solid deck.

It's your last chance to vote folks! We all know what happens if you leave the voting to chance! Get your vote on!

I'm still shocked that only 17 people have voted at this point.

Ok boys and Babs, the winner of the first round of the deckbuilding contest is DJ0045 :party::party:
I checked the poll a couple hours ago and he was behind, but he got 2 votes during this time and he won. Congrats to him, i really liked his deck and i appreciated how people joined this thing providing decklists and testing them. It was fun, also following Barney's elimination testing, we could make a reality show on that basis.
Also here's the decklist i made before the contest (yeah i know everyone is bored about revolt, you can skip this):
Spoiler

Well, as already said next week there will be a poll to collect opinions about this and around 20 Feb there will be round 2 so stay tuned

Yas! I got 2 pity votes! Thanks to the peeps who wanted to spare my feelings. Suck it, Barney; I got more votes than you did :p

That looks like a cool list, Giocher - would have been the only one with Cowl. You should have posted it for this challenge :)

I felt 7 decklists were more than enough to test properly, so i decided to leave it out.

Will the round 2 theme be up for voting? I'm not a fan of the one proposed (flicker).

I could add the theme choice to the next week poll.

Thanks, pal! :cloud9: I'm guessing Maggit was my other pity vote?

I didn't vote this contest because I didn't have a chance to test them all and didn't feel right simply voting on sight lists. Tourney prep took too much of my already limited Duels time...

I voted for you Timh, because you actually built a revolt deck, and deserved some props for doing so. It may not have been perfect, but it deserved more than 0 votes, which is where you were when I voted for you.

I didn't vote for anyone because you all smell like stale cheese.

Or I didn't see the poll. One or the other.
