i really like the "too good not to run", that's a great category and something lots of people forget.

Remember how Baneslayer HAD to be in every deck that had white a couple years ago? It didn't matter what your build was. If you had plains, you threw in Baneslayer

Just like in Duels, if you're running white you're playing BFZ Gideon.

I look at Bearer of Silence and I wonder if it's better than just a good 3 mana beatstick, like Cultivator's Caravan.

What not to like about a somewhat flexible/evasive Nekrataal ?

T2 3/2 flyer is pretty threatening alongside Bone picker and there's a lot of stuff you can discard without being too sad about it in the deck.
