Ok life link question-my opponent attacks with Ochran Assassin. I played March of the multitudes the turn before making 10 tokens. When he attacks with the assasin and I have to block with all 10 tokens, do I gain 1 life or 10?

10. The damage is still dealt, regardless of how much (or how little) toughness a creature has.

Thank you! That’s kind of what we figured from looking around the net but couldn’t find a difinitive answer. It just seemed weird that after the assassin died the rest went into overkill.

They didn't deal damage after the assassin died, they dealt it before the assassin died.
