If I cast the top half of Commit // Memory off a Baral's Expertise can I target Baral's Expertise with Commit and put the expertise in my library second from the top?
My understanding with the Expertise cards is that the cards they cast from their second effect are both cast and resolved while the Expertise is on the stack and that the Expertise doesn't go to the graveyard until both cards are finished resolving. Ergo if the Expertise is still on the stack it should still be targettable and able to be affected by a spell that affects the stack?

Ooh, similarly could I cast Remand off of the Expertise, put the Expertise back in my own hand and draw a card???

Edit: Stupid split card rules change. Remand is at least still a relevant question.
I still don't see how As Foretold still works with split cards but the expertises don't

No. You cast the Remand during the resolution of the Baral's Expertise, so you can target the Expertise. However, once you've done this, the Expertise finishes resolving and goes to the graveyard. Then both players get a chance to respond. It's only after this that the Remand would resolve. However, at this point, its target is illegal, so it's countered and goes to the graveyeard.

As Foretold looks at the spell on the stack, where only one half exists, while Baral's Expertise looks at the card in your hand, where both halves do.
