While I believe I was playing or at least had an account with magic online when sealed leagues were going on last I had no idea about them or even such a thing as sealed or draft existed. I was a terminal casual since the 90s and more recently in the past 8 or 9 years a bad drafter.

I will let you people who played them and have been wanting them since they were gone expound more on what they use to be and how they have changed.

Hm, not sure about that prize structure. I might wait for the casual ones. You need to win four out of five to break even (then you're more than even, you win a draft set), but with "only" three wins, you are down a draft set.

I'm hoping they have Release Event Leagues. Back in the old days, I would cut my teeth on a new set by playing in a release league. After I was comfortable with the set I would switch to drafting.

I might play once, but since I wouldn't expect to break even, that will be it until I see what the casual leagues cost and their prize structure.

I really liked the leagues of old where you added a booster. It provided a great way to practice deck building. I am greatly looking forward to that in a casual way. I hope the casual does not even offer QP as a way to discourage the more serious (better) player!

Preferred Pronoun Set: Hey you!
Well, so far, even though I haven't played a match, I am liking the league structure.

I entered two days ago, and have been using that time to look at all the different decks I may be able to do. I really enjoy that part of sealed and while I can easily build something in what used to be the 20 minute time limit, I have really enjoyed putting something together, sleeping on it, looking again.

Also, the fact I will be able to change up my deck between matches is also awesome. I got two builds ready and a rogue one I might try if I get stomped my first couple matches.

Not sure about this for the production server, but there is a bug in the current beta that prevents loading of saved decks during sideboarding. No problem with changing decks for the second match, just between games.
