Alright, we've only got a week left before the WotC boards go kaput. We need to salvage any threads we're going to want. We probably only need to port threads that still need to be updated (like the Shuffler Thread or the Compleat History thread); any threads that just have historical importance can just be linked and use the Internet Wayback Machine.

Speaking of the Compleat Thread, is anyone willing to take over responsibility for it? This MTG Goldfish article a couple months ago would probably be a good resource to help update.

These are very good threads to salvage. But they are from the time before I was active in the forums, so I have no real connection to them, unfortunately. The legendary Shuffler-thread is the only one I would miss and you have already moved that one over here. So I am more or less, ok.

Part of me is sad that I've forgotten more awesome threads than anyone still around can even remember.

I was trying to think of any that I might want to see but can't remember any. The history one would be nice and if the How To Use MTGO was up to date that would be nice. Though it might be nice as a historical record of old programs and what we might be missing in newer versions.

The thing I remember most about the old board was arguing with Maro over mana burn and having no idea who he was. There were people who were even trying to tell me but I figured they didn't have a clue. Unlike myself, who actually didn't have a clue. I still miss the nostalgia of mana burn, and also feel I was correct in that it was removed for Omnath, Locus of Mana to be more playable or playable at all.
